This short story is by Andy Weir, the author of The Martian and others. When I read it, it was like "Yep, this is what I believe."

Fun fact: Dark energy is the energy that is making the universe expand exponentially by increasing the space between all objects in the cosmos. The universe is expanding, and it's expanding exponentially...kinda like a child growing in a mother's womb...or maybe...like a fetus inside an egg...?

this is actually crazy because it’s impossible to disprove. the way this is set up means that everyone is one person, but in different human lives sure of their own consciousness. because everyone is sure of their own consciousness there is no way to tell that another person with completely different beliefs, appearance, and lifestyle is yourself.

This is the first time I've watched a reaction video and in this case it was worth it. The Egg is one of my favourite stories and to see you awed the way i was was comforting. What a touching and reassuring concept especially if you have lost people.

This little story gives so much sense to sayings like "all humans are brothers" or "treat others like you would treat yourself" and the belive of all religions that we are all children of god. Even the feeling of a Deja vu makes sense in this scenario.

This video is very trippy. Well to me it is. I got to thinking recently what if we are everyone but everyone exists but our universes collided. I do like that but, it feels like a loop. You bully someone you become the person you bullied but if you do nice to a bully you become them. Sounds cool and brings the real meaning to walk in my shoes and you will know.

The first time I ever saw this video I was at the heaviest point of an LSD trip, and let me tell you what kind of craziness was felt after finishing this video. This is a very deep way of explaining and encouraging empathy. Why push/hurt/tailgate/victimize someone, when that someone could be you? Isn't it better to spread kindness and love?

When a star dies it supernovas, basically exploding all the atoms within it across the universe. This is how Earth and everything in it is formed. And we couldn’t truly fathom time as it’s a dimension on its own leading us to live what we perceive as our past lives when they could very well be our current ones. When you write things down you are the universe recording itself. When you love someone and enjoy yourself and the company of others, you are the universe acknowledging, appreciating, and loving it’s own existence. Well guys It took fuckin... gazillions of years and forces we can’t comprehend, but I’m here with all of us to experience this moment in time and space.

Maybe it’s not so much as a human you’ll remember and store all your past experiences but when you die it’s just like respawning in a video game or starting a new one you remember everything from past lives but it all disappears when you start new until you die again and you can access everything from previous lives

Even tho this is a theory there are flaws, if we are living every life one at a time, then the one I’m living now is the first one, because when you die and “reincarnate” you forget your memories, so if we are living a life ahead of the previous one, but that one is a previous life to the life a head, there are zero memories or zero moments of consciousness between any of the lives. This is because we are ahead of each previous life but every life is a previous life to the next one
