Disagree that they're unmatched. I cant tell you how many parents have told me their kids prefer Royal Caribbean's Adventure Ocean to DCL's program. Besides that, there is nothing that DCL offers that is worth 2-3x the price. For that price, you should be in the premium to luxury cruise market, but the DCL product is mass market. Bottom line, DCL charges prices for Disney die hards who are paying for the name. The ones that figure that out, end up cruising other lines.

@@RoyalCaribbeanBlog the reason that they "end up cruising other lines"? Their kids aged out of Disney. Teens prefer RCCL. Eventually, the grandparents want kid free vacations, and choose Celebrity or adult only lines. Actually, it's worth 5x the price, not to have the drunks and gamblers of the low rent lines.

On the signature show: Disney Dreams- an Enchanted Classic. Sit where you can see the faces of some young kids: say- age 3 to 10. During the show, when you see Tinker Bell above the ship? Observe the children's faces... No other ship, anywhere, can do that to kids' faces, every cruise, every.single.time. Go back to the second or third performance, and see it happen again. Now, back up a night or two, or four, or five, and see The Golden Mickeys. Then, realize that this cast, and there's only 30 of them, do five different stage shows per week, changing to a different show, while you sleep (plus the final farewell, on the lobby staircase, at 10 p.m. on the last night (and in addition to all of the meet and greets, character breakfasts, and photo ops.) Full lights, music, scenery, costumes, songs, dances, script, effects, sound, video, the works.... Makes the one show wonders on the other lines, and their sleazy comics, look pretty puny, doesn't it? Hope you take the backstage tour. It will amaze you, as well as your youtube audience. Yes, those princesses' ball gowns, cost $50K each, and they have three (one in repair, one to wear, and a spare.) Yes, the bow of the ship (behind the stage) is where they store the other four shows' sets and props. Yes, the lifts, below the stage, are where all of those sets are stored. Yes, that's not just a sound control room, behind the audience: it also runs the effects, videos, lazers, holograms, snow maker, fog machines, electric sets, electric tracks in the stage floor, sound, lights, and so much more. See those catwalks, above? Way beyond the technology of the other lines. We're not talking follow spot and a mirror ball. Best of all: not a single power cord or mic cord in sight, giving any hint as to how they did it. Get the picture? @@RoyalCaribbeanBlog just watched your video of favorite RCCL shows. If that's the best, then shudder to see what the worst is... ( well, El Gaucho was on Liberty OTS at Christmas, main showroom..... pathetic.) Sorry, those aren't Tony award productions, but cheap imitations. Ditto, for cheap circus acts, and ice antics. Pool? not much, as well. Sorry, RCCL just doesn't have the creative genius of the decades of Disney oscars for animated musicals, best film scores, etc. The shoreside skills just aren't there. Those aren't Broadway original cast, nor even off-off Broadway, nor touring company A, B, nor C. Rather, this is the quality of small high school musical theatre departments, with low budgets, renting Tams Witmark or Rogers/Hammerstein library scores. The costumes, sets, choreography, leads, chorus, dancers, lights, staging, effects... compared to the originals? that were actually ON Broadway? and actually WON said Tony awards? Not even close. Cheap imitators, at best. Total imposters, in most cases. Oh, I realize, that by definition, you have to be a die hard RC cheerleader, regardless of the facts, hence the name of your blog. But these guys just don't meet the standard.

They made that change pre Covid for some reason. I’m assuming to avoid someone at one table touching the bread before it reaches another table. Or perhaps to speed up service.
