Today, let's talk about the story of Queen Sofia of Spain, the sister of Greek King Constantine II. In 1938, Queen Sofia was born in Nazi-occupied Greece. Her mother was Princess Frederica of Hanover, and her father was King Paul I of Greece. Sofia was the eldest child in the family. Due to the threat of the German army, the family sought refuge in Africa when she was young. Her uncle, the former king, once joked that the essential item for a Greek king was a suitcase, and history proved him right. It's unknown how King Constantine II, who spent a significant part of his life in exile, felt about this statement.

And king Felipe allows Letizia do whatever she wants. Porqué está acostumbrada desde el principio, este matrimonio es de conveniencia, ella creo que si estuvo enamorada, le fué infiel siempre, se le conocen muchas amantes de este país, y ella lo sabía, lo de Corina lo sabía, la llevaba a todos los sitios, antes que Corina pasaron muchas más, como una vedette muy conocida aquí, una chica de Mallorca, no se decía nada pero todos los sabían, pero solos se ha enterado el resto del mundo cuando dejó de ser rey y se exilió. Por eso digo que no creo que se avergonzara por lo de Corina, porque lleva muchos años cargando esa cruz, pero si quieres seguir siendo reina y no divorciarte es el precio que tuvo que pagar. Yo creo que todas las reinas consortes llevan cuernos pero todas lo aguantan desde siempre, mira el último escándalo con los ahora reyes de Dinamarca. Habrá algún rey que no haya sido infiel? Puede ser.

Creo firmemente en la legitimidad de la segunda republica española y no se puede hablar de los innombrables y no habló pero creo que Manuel Azaña era un gran jefe de estado y Juan Negrín un gran presidente y me gustaría decir que la libertad de expresión es algo que debería estar respetado pero no se puede hablar de los innombrables y por lo tanto no habló aunque me parece que no debería ser así.

I’m sorry, but Sofia was not born in 𝘕𝘢𝘻𝘪-𝘰𝘤𝘤𝘶𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘥 Greece. Germany didn’t occupy Greece until April 1941; in fact, Germany didn’t even attack Poland until September 1939. Sofia was born in Greece in 1938.

In 1938, when Sofia Glügsburg was born, Greece wasn't occupied by Nazi Germany but it had its own fascist regime of Ioannis Metaxas, whom appointed as fascist dictator the Sofia's uncle, King George II. All the political opponents were sent to exile and the left wing opponents were being tortured systematically. Fortunately, we the Greeks accomplished to overthrown the fascist greek royal family (nominal greek, they never considered themselves Greeks but something above the Greeks), which never served the interests of the Greek People but only the interests of the UK, the USA and the greek oligarchy, throwing to exile thousands of its political adversaries and adulterating the elections when the result wasn't in favor of them, finishing with a dictatorship in 1967, giving the coup instigators the mandate to form a fascist dictatorship government, throwing again and again their political opponents to exile. Only after 1974 the people are not sent in exile and only after 1983 the political refugees were allowed to come back to Greece. Such was Greece of the Glücksburgs: poverty, immigration, political refugees and exiles and dictatorships.
