I am typing this comment with RK H81 and I gotta say I'm really impressed! I was thinking of getting a wireless keyboard that can be switched to multiple devices and I came across this keyboard. Nowadays I'm very busy with work and don't have time to mod keyboard anymore, so this keyboard is really like a lifesaver even I immediately shelved my Tiger Lite 80 lol and chose to use RK H81. The switch is smooth, I really like the feel of the keycaps and the knob is very useful for me who need to switch between 3 devices regularly. The design also looks really cool and everything sounds great right out of the box. I was planning to do some modding but after using it only a few days I feel like it doesn't really need anymore modding haha

Looking at this specifically because of the mode toggle switch as I use both a desktop and laptop. Switching will be easier.

I have this keyboard as well, and I feel the same way that the knob should have been for volume, but I did find myself connecting it to multiple devices and using the knob to switch devices.

I think you're right, I know the knob isn't a favorite for a lot of board enthusiasts out there, including me but I just received mine and I am loving it so far. It really is fantastic out of the box and for those interested, they can take it a bit further to make it even smoother.

@@serge933 Same here! The build is pretty solid and I've been using it for about 3 weeks now. The switches are great and the features (especially the 2.4ghz mode) are perfect for me because I prefer a wireless setup but still efficient for gaming.

I have the same keeb and it sounds nice out of the box, i just tape modded it with 4 layers, removed the silicone case dampener and replaced with polyfill

Depending on the budget and layout you want but if u looking for pre built i suggest you look into Akko, as they provide quite value for money

@@yaserhegazi6284 if you prefer the 75% layout the 5075 B plus or PC75B Plus also a great option currently im using the 5075 B plus, super nice out of the box doesnot require any mod to sound good

I found mine on sale on amazon for around $60 usd. 100% would recommend purchasing it. I've built 8 keyboards so far and this is my go-to daily driver. I did tape mod, stab mods, foam mod, and added Glorious Panda switches. Great typing experience and great sound! I will definitely get another when they are back in stock.

I want to replace the knob with a different one, but I’m not sure how I can remove the stock knob. Do I need to open the whole thing or can I just pull it out using the keycap puller?

sky cyan id say is better, its very smooth and it gives a slight feeling of a thocky keyboard

i just got this and damn when i tried to remove the stock keycaps they are like super glued in the stems they are so hard to remove i feel like im breaking the keyboard already after getting it in 4 days

flex that you tested at the end, that seems like flex of your desk-mat rather than the board , it's more clear if you do flex test on hard surface

I am using the RK71, as much as I love the keyboard, the white ABS keycaps lose color very quick. I am getting a new set of keycaps

The keycap puller makes it easy to remove. Be careful not to damage the knob.

Just unscrew the screws hidden by the rubber feet and it'll open right up!

i ordered this a month ago and it still hasn't arrived. it's was supposed to arrive 11 days ago. ive been in contact with rk but they have a chat bot on me and they wont help me at all. im so annoyed because im gonna have to refund since rk is stupid
