I can't stop watching this movie, idk what the hell they mixed in it but I am addicted. I have rewatched over ten times since past two weeks and currently questioning my sanity

My comment is from the perspective of a queer person that has not read the book. I watched the movie for what it was, a queer rom-com and I LOVE it. Most queer storylines in movies and TV series show more the traumas of queer life. We never get a happy ending, we are bullied, killed, end our own life, rejected, et, etc. I have grown tired of it. This movie gave me life and so did your reaction. I laughed, cried, fell in love, said "ridiculous" a few times. For 2 hours, I forgot all the worries of the world and allowed my heart to dream of an impossible love and to be loved. Queer people don't get these kind of movies and we need them so badly. It's the same reason why I love "Heartstopper" so much. For all the people criticizing the movie so harshly because it does not mirror the book exactly or your favourite character or part of the book was omitted. Please be gentle, they had a limited time to tell this story, and please think, when was the last time you watched a queer positive rom-com? I couldn't stop crying at the s*x scene. It's likely the first time I've seen intimacy between two men, that was romantic, gentle, sensual, caring and loving. We usually get the opposite and that scene alone told me that the producer, director, actors, etc, cared about the message of this movie.

That "baby and Alex voice" was the words that brought back Henry to life!!

I don’t understand the chemistry criticism AT ALL. I think sometimes people claim that there is no chemistry between characters if how they pictured the characters isn’t the same as how they appear on screen. Heartstopper faced similar criticism as Joe and Kit didn’t exactly resemble Alice’s characters as she drew them. But that nonsense was short lived.

I don't blame Henry at all because if I kissed someone who looks as good as Taylor and they end up loving me is flee the country too

I don't know where did they find these two lead actors, but they did a fantastic job! The chemistry, intimacy is perfect! On that scene , they really were making love! It wasn't just a s*e*x. It was the first time that I saw this gay s*e*x scene so beautiful. Most of them are very quick and rushy. And from behind! It really showed that it was the first time for Alex ,and the first time for Henry with the one he is in love with. I have red the book last year. I mean... great adaptation from the book. And....I think that the museum was a sign that he could feel that he could easily and without fear walk among people and be himself. Dance with someone you like without anyone watching or judging you. Funny thing guys... Henry reminds me of Coffee Ice cream, Alex reminds me of Avacado on toast with a pinch of salt

I love it all. I read the book and have the audiobook as well. I agree with most of that too. You can only put so much in a movie and there is always more detail in the book. ❤😊

Kind of unfair. 😂 I haven't read the book. I watched this movie knowing that it's an adaptation, and of course they wouldn't be able to keep everything from the book, and they would have to change things around, and probably add new things. I love this movie, and all the things that could be different, or that they could have done a little better, do not make me love it any less. I love it for what it is, a great love story between two queer men with a happy ending. There is not enough of those, and I hope Red, White and Royal Blue's success, and also Heartstopper's success, can help change that. Also, I loved your reaction. 😊

Ive watched this Movie at least 20 times and will keep watching It over and over again ,,,I have just read the book and prefer the Movie ! in the book for me there were too many side line characters we didnt need June she would of taken away from Noras role and i liked that we had Miguel to hate on instead of Luna and the parents were still married instead of divorced ..Taylor was a dream in this role both guys had chemistry
