Royals fans! We just won another Super Bowl! And since you are in such a good mood, let us share with you some more spectacular news. We are going to build you a new ballpark in the heart of Kansas City. All we ask is that you pay higher taxes, pay more for your Royals tickets, pay more for parking, quit tailgating and bringing your own goodies to enjoy outside the stadium, tolerate more congestion and heavy traffic getting to and from the ball park, and spend more money patronizing downtown businesses on your way to the game. But just look at this shinny new object we are giving you in exchange for your hard earned dollars!

Its a horrible idea. Just like the Airport. Went from the easiest airport to get in and out of in the country, to a freaking nightmare.

@@kc2dc444 kcmo is going downhill fast especially compared to JOCO and wasting their resources on unnecessary projects in a relatively empty downtown. No one wants to pay these taxes to wealthy developers in a city that is unable to fix potholes.

@@kc2dc444the new terminal is smaller than the old airport. So much for progress , walking through the new one takes forever to get everywhere and is so much less convenient

This is so cringey. Shootings and crime and sketchy people all over the downtown area. No where to park either.
