I think that was in respect of the ordinary man in the street who was kept in the dark about his sovereign’s health. George was not a monster, this is what happen when these so called "royal experts" want to rewrite history. Read George V's biographies by several acclaimed historians such as Kenneth Rose, Jane Ridley, Alexandra Churchill. George was strict and disciplinary but he loved his children and wasnt a m 0nster
