The program is produced by Fremantle USA (as well as distributed by) and Syco Entertainment, and broadcasts on the NBC television network. It premiered on June 21, 2006, after plans for a British edition in 2005 were suspended, following a dispute within the British broadcaster ITV. Production would later resume in 2007,[3] following the success of the first season. Each season is mainly run during the network's summer schedule, and has featured various hosts over the course of the program's history. The current host is Terry Crew.

Almost like the shows hired a performing artist to do these stunts year after year and obviously the hosts are in on it. Who's act is dress up act act weird, get the crowd off your side, win them back with physical comedy then end with some nudity for the audience response

I love how every moment was planned. He knew he was getting buzzed and it was apart of the act. Normal the performance would stop... but them wanting it to stop was apart of the act. Brilliant 👏 👏 👏

His natural talent for impro is incredibly underestimated. Not anyone is able to walk on stage an keep making people laugh with whatever unpredicted can happen (tail falling off, screen broken, buzz...), he always has the good comebacks
