Roza Iftar in Train Locomotive | Breaking Fast With Running Crew of Pakistan Railways

Hello Everyone, Today's vlog is very special because of spiritual touch associated with this journey. As you all know that it is Ramadan month, so I thought to share with you all about roza iftar routine of running crew of Pakistan Railways. In this video, I break my roza and do iftar with train driver and assistant train driver of 16DN Karachi Express. I did a short journey from Lahore Junction till Khanewal Junction and iftar time happened somewhere near Sahiwal, so we had a great iftar party in GEU-40-9013
So, sit back relax and enjoy this short but sweet vlog.

great video sir, epic compilation. you have introduced a very unique and good pov on how crew of PR perform Iftar and for that I personally feel that best person to describe id LP Sahir Altamash sir and Alp Shahid Maqbool sir. firstly 16dn dn great train with heavy gevo loco geu40 9013 in charge , sad to see the glass condition of loco, stone pelters must be penalitized with long term jail of mimimum 20 years for damaging public property. secondly good to see my most favourite LP of PR LP sahir Altmash and ALP Shahid Maqbool sir and pleased to know how sahir sir git his unique name, after departure from lhr yard skips of lhr cantt, walton at mediate pace, after kot lakhpat skipping green town halt, kanha kacha, jia bagga at 105kmph great speed with unique Sahir sir's signature whistle and after raiwind skipping kot radha kishen , changa manga, pattoki , habibabad, renala khurd, okara, okara cantt, yusufwala railway station at flat 105-110kmph with whistles throughout lovely action by geu40 and Sahir sir.., and finally iftar with many dishes lovely!!!. overall great video sir its been a lovely compilation . I hope it was a day time and you would have taken it to all over till khanewal but sad... hopefully next time you will cover end to end in day time... anyways cheers....

Very informative post. Dear you have explained in detail the working of the Railways that includes many aspects not known to me. Your running commentary is superb and made the viewers feel part of this journey. The Iftaar had almost every thing. First of all I appreciate you for showing Lahore and subarban area. Now you have mentioned Walton station and I remember that I had got training as a guard and after having completed the 🚆 training I was posted at Rawalpindi headquarters as a goods guard in 1971. I had worked for 5 years before joining as Assistant of NPS 11, for guard the scale was 7 but I was drawing good salary as it included milage allowance and other fringe benefits.

Season's Greetings Very touchy, emotional, religious, unique and excellent object you connected with this journey. I observed that the assistant loco pilot was not having the Green Flag to respond the Guard as happens in India. In the day they use Green/Red cloth flags and night heavy electric torches. Anyhow, it was the Journey full of technical knowledge and untouched & unknown facts. I salute the loyalty to religion with sincerity to duty. Ramadan Mubarak. God Bless You.

Hello Ravindra, Thank you so much. I have seen Indian assistant loco pilots using colored cloth flags but not sure why but here they always use the hand signal to exchange with guard. Guard however use the clothed flags.

This is the only channel that I am watching with full interest and attention. I really love the old train stations and the ambiance in its crew accommodations.
