Hi Singers! This is a method I use to help people find the bigger, thicker places in their voice. Be as loose and relaxed and playful as you can, and give it a try. Let me know in the comments, how it goes!

I made the same connection to Christina! Not Candyman (but you're right), I chose Lady Marmalade as the example. This is the exact technique that she uses in all her vocal riffs!

All of Christina Aguilera's riffs follow this progression. Think about her sections in Lady Marmalade, the "oooohhhhh yeeeessssah" at the end, or the repeated word "more" that brings the song into her verse. She did a Master Class a few years ago that's available on KZfaq and she discusses exactly this technique but with a different explanation of it. This is SUCH a good way to grow and develop your singing voice and style!

i love that she makes me feel welcomed to “yell” & “shout” because i had to hold my voice back growing up and until recently i’ve been told that i have “power” in my voice and to not hold back as i have for a while. this is the reassurance i needed. i let people who knew nothing about singing or musicality to hold me back for so long.

omg i found it at the right time , i've started to sing after a long time, lost alot of my rage and registers too and somehow i was singing in low register and wasn't going up now i just loosened up y voice abit
