This week, I'm playtesting Luffy from the ST10 ULTIMATE DECK -The Three Captains starter deck. This deck has slowly received support for the past 3 sets and is now a viable answer to the OP-07 meta, especially if Lucci is abundant. What do you think?

i feel like 2 1c Robin is almost necessary to pop chump blockers and other Bon Clays, she always saves me and i cant imagine my deck without such a mommy

Should have played 10 cost shanks, then swing kid to minus 1 and get back active for rad beam to still be active

This is my main deck I'm running for this set. I'm enjoying the game again because of it, even when I lose it's down to the wire. With matchup knowledge it's possible to take this far

I've been playing this deck the last month, since the meta in my locals is mostly yellow I prefer shanks x4 instead of luffy 10; since black can kill him relatively easy and yellow decks raigo him too often I opted to kill bomb and place bomb, since this decks is too starved for card draw, I also play x2 miss all sunday for the ramp and an extra card and lastly I play x4 0 purple event and 2 guard points but right now, I love this deck.

The shanks could be good, but I prefer the 10c 11k luffy for those blocker heavy decks like B/Y luffy, Corazon, Kid, or Uta.

idk, I like rush luffy's and kaido's more. newgate feels like it's just there to stall, I know that's what people play but it's definitely a break imo

In my experience Newgate helps keep you alive till you can get them low enough to G5. Playing against decks that play lots of blockers or have lots of cards in hand it helps you add some extra pressure while staying alive

Too bad the lucci just conceded. If they went for game they could of won. You would only be able to counter out of 2 attacks. So all they needed was 4 6k attacks to win. 1 with Brooke. 1 with Kalifa with 2 don. 1 with Spandam with 4 don. Then leader with remaining don. 22:57

Ya going got board that turn ahead was definitely the play. Cant play blocker with Bonney knowing they got cards like hody and be safe. If you killed off the unit you would have been able to keep that dragon that you drawn with queen and use it next turn to finish her. But good show case over all! Good job

if i dont have bonclay can i replace him with some other ramp card? or its unplayable?

Other options such as basil hawkins, lead perform disaster and ms. All sunday can all be used as replacements based on your preference but bon clay is the most optimal because he can do what all 3 of those cards do in 1. Basil hawkins has 1k counter but he ramps rested and is not a body to swing with after being played. Lead perform disaster ramps active and replaces itself but is not a body on board and has no counter so can be a brick later in the game. Ms all sunday is a body after being played and replaces herself but she has no counter and ramps rested. Bon clay however ramps active, is a body, and has counter in hand which gives the best balance for the deck

In today meta with two black decks, Bonney and boa running rampant, lead performer is your best friend. Bon clay will just die when hit the board and all you get is a ramp.

34:35 the sequence is wrong. The shank should’ve been played first to pop Doffy then swing with Kid to minus don then bring back one don for leader effect just in case you need rad beam.
