At the 22nd International Conference on Dialysis, 2020 we had the pleasure of hearing Dr. Helbert Rondon Berrios, MD, MS, FACP, FASN. Dr. Rondon is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Renal-Electrolyte Division at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Program Director of the Nephrology Fellowship Training Program. His presentation on urea for hyponatremia focuses on explaining the mechanism of action of urea in hyponatremia and describing the advantages and disadvantages of the use of urea in hyponatremia.
