About the speaker: Sri M is a renowned spiritual guide, social reformer and educationist. His transformational journey, from a young seeker to a living yogi, is a fascinating story symbolized by single-minded discipline and dedication. His spiritual transformation was initiated at the early age of nine and the next de- cade saw him go through a dichotomy of experiences - both material and physical - combining the adventure of his teenage years with the esoteric magnetism of religious texts and spiritual allure of holy men and saints.
Drawn to the compelling landscape of the Himalayas he spent three and half years with his mas- ter in the mountains. Returning to the plains on the advice of his spiritual master, he spent a number of years working as a journalist and a writer. He embarked on a mission of teaching and conducting dialogues with people across the country much later.
He founded an organization The Satsang Foundation, which currently runs many social intiatives in the areas of education, health and enviromnent in Andhra Pradesh, NCR, etc.. His indefati- gable energy also saw him embark on a “Walk of Hope” in 2016 for peace and harmony across India, covering 7500 km travelling between Kanyakumari and Kashmir. His message seeks to transcend the outer-shell of all religions, by exploring their mystical core to nurture the innate goodness in every human being.
He has authored many books including his Autobiography and a novel called ‘Shunya’.
