Badd Medicine here and its reaction time! RRR 2022 Indian Telugu-language epic action drama film directed by S. S. Rajamouli who wrote the film with V. Vijayendra Prasad. It is produced by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainment. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris. It is a fictional story about two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), and their fight against the British Raj. Set in 1920, the plot explores the undocumented period in their lives when both the revolutionaries chose to go into oblivion before they began the fight for their country.
What an awesome film this was! As we have said many times, the action is alway innovative. Story was great and the actors did awesome. We did realize that they weren't brothers, but friends that ended up meeting. The commitment level on these guys was an all time high.

Some Facts About RRR (I Know You Know).. Ram is Like SHRI RAMACHANDRA (LORD RAM) Sita Is Like MATA SITA (Wife Of SHRI RAMACHANDRA) And Bheem Is Like SHRI HANUMAN (A Devotee (More Than That) Of SHRI RAMACHANDRA), Here's Why, Because In Mahabharat (An Epic History), BHEEM Is Son Of GOD PAWANA DEV (GOD OF AIR/WIND) AND Also HANUMAN Is Son Of GOD PAWANA DEV (GOD Of AIR/WIND), They Are Half-Brothers..., And Also In The Final Scene Of Jailbreak, BHEEM Carrying RAM, Like SHRI HANUMAN Carrying SHRI RAMACHANDRA....👍😀 Now, I Know The True Meaning Of The Title Of This Movie "RRR" (Rise Roar Revolt)... The First Segment, "The Story" Is The "Rise" Part Of The Movie... The Second Segment, Both "Fire" & "Water" Is The "Roar" Part Of The Movie... The Third Segment, After The Title Card Appears.. Is The "Revolt" Part Starts... RRR IS SUCCESSFUL BECAUSE OF IT'S OWN KIND... RRR Has Over-the-top Action, Drama, Romance, Bromance, Emotion, Deep Meanings And Every Frame Is A Art... And Not A Single Scene Is A Waste, It Use Those Scene For Battle...

The bridge scene is a cool foreshadowing. Ram picks up the flag, showing he came for the nation. while, bheem went for the kid. They both exchange their missions and go for it together, only then they succeed.

Great reaction guys to a great movie. Although the movie is not based on true events, the brutality of the British Empire in India was real. In Amritsar in Punjab April 1919 was the vaisakhi festival time. Sikhs congregated in a area in Amritsar for this. The British army shot down thousands of men, women and children that were unarmed. It was known as the black vaisakhi since then. This is one of many injustices that took place.

Few easter eggs and fun facts of RRR: 1) When bahubali was released many people began to nitpick about small things in the movie, they began to look for flaws, one such flaw which was pointed out by many people is the iconic scene where prabhas makes the huge jump in the waterfall, many pointed out that he should take a run up to make such a huge jump, instead he just jumps from the edge, thats the reason y in RRR When ram and bheem meet for the 1st time, to rescue the kid under the bridge while they jump down the bridge they take a run up in rajamouli style with a horse n a bike🤣🤣 guess what rajamouli learns from his mistakes, even in the same scene we can see ram charan takes a flag dips it in the water n makes it wet before he throws it to jr NTR, so that when jr NTR wraps it around it won't catch fire 🔥🔥... The imagination n brilliance of rajamouli sir🔥🔥 Respect👍👍 2) Unlike many other indian movies which involve english actors, in RRR we find the performances of english actors far better, that's because rajamouli approached professionals, the one who played Scott is "Ray Stevenson" one who acted in "Thor" movies, one who played lady Scott is "Alison doody" the lead actress from indiana jones.... 3) The sets u can see in nacho nacho or naatu naatu song, the palace behind is actually President's palace in Ukraine..After finishing the movie n returning to india, war was started in ukraine.... 4) When ram captures bheem's clan member, he catches a snake n attacks ram even though he is tied, that man catching the snake is justified coz they r gond tribals, they know everything abt every animal, how to trap and catch them, n how to treat animal attacks using natural ayurvedic remedies, since they were born n brought up in jungle along with those animals n plants, that's how even jr NTR is able to tame n control the animals during interval sequence.... 5) That song jr NTR sings while being whipped "komaram bheemudo", few non indian and north indian audience may find the song lil distasteful because they r unaware of the importance of the song, the gond tribe (the telangana people) who faced many tortures under the nijam rule, hv developed a habit of singing folklore songs explaining their pain n oppression for years, these songs kind of made those people stronger n revolt against nijams, similarly at the end of the song people revolt, even now a days these songs r famous in Telangana area, we andhra n telangana people r familiar with such songs, but north indian n non indian audience may not hv any idea abt it, even the song komaram bheemudo was written by one of the famous revolutionary singer from telangana area, if u concentrate on the lyrics of the song we can feel the oppression his people r facing.... 6) the subtext or easter egg about the "Barbed whip" that lady scott threw to torture jr NTR is that in the climax when the Scott's empire blows up when lady scott died we can see her body hanging in "Barbed wires" implying that she finally got what she deserved.... "karma is a bitch"🤭🤭🤣 7) near the climax when jr NTR knocks on the floor to find ram who was imprisoned in the ground, he actually knocks the same beats of Nacho Nacho song, so that only ram charan could recognise it's him rather than other possible prisoners, ram charan also reciprocates by knocking the same beat of nacho nacho, even in the earlier scene when ram charam is bit by snake he plays the same beats to communicate with jr NTR, the cinematic brilliance of rajamouli for using a song in so many ways giving easter eggs all the way around is lit🔥🔥🔥 hatsoff to rajamouli 🙏 8) the scene about bheem carrying ram in the climax sequence may seem a bit overemphasized, but even earlier in the film in dosti song there was a shot giving easter eggs, where we can see jr ntr doing squats on the ground lifting ram charan, then ram charan does pull ups holding a tree branch, this way rajamouli is planting an idea subconsciously to his audience that jr ntr got lower body strength n ram charan got upper body strength... So that audience get convinced during the climax scene where bheem carries ram... Even the scene seems physically impossible, rajamouli never hesitates to show his ideas n imaginations in the most convincing way possible, that scene may be impossible but u could never find any other director pulling of such a scene in any film like rajamouli... Respect.... 9) The same way In climax fight sequence bheem lifting a bike looks over the top for sure, but do u know those bikes were actually used during second world war time so that in any unforeseen situation during war the soldiers can actually carry the bikes, those bikes weight around 55kgs only, i agree that even 55 kg bike travelling at 50kmph velocity is difficult to be lifted... But look at the way it was imagined, presented,picturized, the mesmerising cinematography in that scene, the kind of goosebumps it gave us, we should watch the movie for its epicness, rather than being nitpicky about everything.... 10) At the climax that transformation of ram charan🔥🔥, many people thought that was sree ram's avatar, there r mythological references to the movie for sure but its not just sree ram's avatar, its actually the original look of Alluri seeta rama raju (the freedom fighter ram charan was playing), alluri seeta rama raju in history was well learnt man who wears those kashayam clothes fights with bow n arrows, probably the best archer india has ever had, he fought against britishers he got weapons n guns by attacking police stations n british camps, he used the same weapons to attack britishers with his trusted men... Even he was shot dead by britishers in the freedom struggle... Legend says that britishers put around 100 bullets in his body n ruthlessly killed him... At the end of the film rajamouli showed ram n bheem in their original looks ram wearing kashayam clothes, with long hair n beard, bheem with a pagdi on his head n those clothes gond people used to wear... 11) the final RRR fact, For the interval sequence with animals rajamouli shot for around 65 nights, each night they spent around 75lakhs for the shoot itself... In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shooting which were not even used in Hollywood movies, a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being... b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly. c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves... d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors.... Rajamouli in an interview said in Hollywood movies they get to use very expensive cameras n equipment to get these kind of shots coz they have such huge budgets, but to attempt such shots in limited budget we hv to innovate things (jugaad) to get these shots for a minimal budget... One such innovation is using laser lights to represent animal's head movements, he took the help of IT students to place laser lights where required.. Rajamouli says the reason y most of the times we fail to get the animal shots right is animals in real life move at a fast speed any human could imagine, first we shoot the humans part n then we animate animals, so humans imagine animal coming towards them n act accordingly, but in his imagination animal moves slowly, so while animating animator has to slow down the animal's movements to keep sync with human's reactions, ultimately making the animal move slow, which looks fake for us, for this film what he did is he animated animal shots first n then placed laser lights on the set to reflect animals moving n then shot the scenes... He literally made humans run faster n faster, even in the making video named "Roar of RRR" we can hear him screeming "faster, faster" to Jr.NTR while shooting his intro scene😂😂 For that fire crackers scene he could hv done everything in CG but he chose to go with real fire crackers placed on threads, n later on he enhanced it in CG... There was even a mishap where one fire cracker changed its course n went so close to Ram charan's eye, later in an interview Ram charan jovially said that he was looking for the thread after the scene, he was scared later on realising that there was no thread beside his eye😂😂😂.. Rajamouli explains that we should get 80% of the shot by using real props (fire, smokes, wires, miniatures, fire crackers, water hoses etc), then we should enhance it by CG, if we do everything on CG it looks fake...

The Gond Tribe are very artistically talented people, their artwork is exhibited all over the world now. They also made the stories of the atrocities committed against them to songs and passed on to their children so that their future generation never forgot the bad doings of Bastard Race on Indian people. Sri Rajamouli intelligently implemented those in the movie. They are both freedom fighters who fought for India's freedom. Both of them had similarity in their life. Sri Ramaraju used bow and arrows and Sri bheem used guns. A portion of their life is unknown before the freedom revolution. Sri Rajamouli used the story to fill in the missing time line in their life.

Would like to expatiate a bit more on what 'The Oak' said, we have all kinds of films that are being made and produced. From indie arthouse stuff to the romantic dramas and over the top action extravaganza flicks. RRR is made for masses to cheer, feel passionate and enrage with joy. The two characters on which the film centers around were two real life revolutionaries who never met each other in real life. The film just plays around with "what if they did", just like Tarantino kind of did with Inglorious Basterds. The British tyranny is too ugly that the British concealed it and it never got onto curriculum in England and other countries too, people just don't know about it. But everything is out there in History books and Internet. The way west is going all Gaga over the film is astounding, I think even Rajamouli (director) have also not expected the amount of love the film got in other countries. I don't usually watch Bollywood and Indian films that much as I grew up mostly on International Cinema but when we produce good stuff, it's commendable to appreciate and encourage it. If we never blink an eye on the realistic nature of Marvel films, just like that consider them superhumans in the film. RRR is what Marvel does but better. In the climax when Ram turns into a mystical figure with bow and arrow is actually based on Hindu Mythology and it represents God 'Shree Ram' who is prominent figure among Hindu Gods. In the end, great reaction guys! Been watching the channel since I discovered your TWD reactions. Great stuff, amazing channel.

@Satyarth Singh I loved your comment and I %100 agree on British Tyranny that not many know about and happened in other countries that Britain colonized and stole their riches too , not only in India, I would like to share with you a bit of different information I read on IMDB about the part where Ram fought at the end with the bow and arrows that disagrees with what you mentioned . { Despite the popular and controversial belief that Ram is dressed as Lord Rama in the third act of the film, it's actually the classic look of the Indian freedom fighter Alluri Seetha Rama Raju, whom Ram's character is based on. In the same way, Bheem is also dressed in the classic look of the Indian freedom fighter Komaram Bheem, whom Bheem's character is based on, in the mid-credit scenes of the film during the "Etthara Jenda" song. }

Also.. when ram was beating bheem.., The nature starting with the leaf from wind , water and forest gave bheem the strength and courage to not kneel easily .. when ram was trying to rescue bheem , he got stabbed by the tree log in the back.. it was nature's way of payback him for doing that to bheem.. that's why he got blood vomits and also another time Ram was badly done. Was when he tortured lachhu(bheems another tribal buddy). The poisoness snake bite had him dying within an hour was another payback by nature. Also after bheem saved him from bite but ram tried to get in between bheems goal by trying to arrest the wrong person bheem gave him a payback by the claws, and in the forest while ram rescued malli, bheem thought ram tried to do the harm again. But this time even with the sharp wood in angry bheems hand , there was something which stopped him from stabbing ram at that time as malli was rescued and now they have to go far.

The reason being there's loads of woods like Bollywood, tollywood, mollywood, etc. This one is a tollywood one and many people either keep correcting you and some people kinda gets offended as well. So simple to call it Indian. Anyway I love it whatever you call it..it's just a simple suggestion

Both Ram and Bheem are historical figures as depicted in movies but they are also inspired from ancient historical epic characters of Shri Rama (from Ramayana) and Mighty Bheem (from Mahabharat) that's the reason why Bheema can lift motorcycle because mythological Bheema can crush mountains and 🐘 with his single punch. And Rama dressed liked that statue (idol from where he gets his 🏹) of Shri Rama. You should read the lyrics of song playing in background music in last forest battle. That score describes the characteristics of both mythological figures.🪔👍

I don’t believe they’re mythical, I read that both those characters Ram and Bheem were based upon people with those exact names who did exist and Alluri Seeta Ramaraju did fight the British and he did use a bow and arrows .

It's great that you were able to find the movie in Telugu. Most of the places you can watch the film it's dubbed in Hindi or English. Dubs always look so goofy to me so I prefer to watch everything in the original language the way it was intended. I guess I'm a movie watching purist. It was such a fun film. It made me want to research more about Indian culture and history. I never knew about the social norm of eating with your right hand and the comparison of Bheem and Raju to actual Gods and historical figures. I never knew so many languages were spoken in India as well. Very interesting stuff.
