The Thing is that Indians especially tribals knew the use of herbs and medicinal plants, And a large part of it still exists today as 'Ayurveda', what bheem did to Alluri was the reason he could stand up, and because he was beside lord Rama, perhaps the director wants to show that he got some willpower/inspiration from him, One more thing can be that the locals say that Alluri was an incarnation of Rama, so perhaps that scene tried to depict that. Alluri Sitaram Raju was just like that, in that attire, with bow and arrow, He fought brits like that only in forests. He was a Real Hero.

It’s History, Legend and Fiction mingled so intricately and beautifully. There are references every here and there from Good vs Evil , Ram, Seeta, Hanuman, Ravan, Burning of Lanka by Hanuman, war led by the abduction of a very dearly female figure by a tyrant(here a young little girl), the tribal armies, use of animals, friendship, loyalty, promises, reunions, verses from Shrimadbhaghavadgeeta and so many subtle references, like every scene has something related to Ramayana, and it presents the concept of Avatara (descending/manifestation/personification of the divine in human form; here in two of famous revolutionaries/freedom fighters from the Colonial times), Dharma, Nyay and an intricate presentation of the teachings from Dharmik/Indic scriptures, taking the artistic liberty to keep it palatable for the modern audience, yet not misleading from the central concept at any point. How many things have been put into this film, that is only around 3 hours is simply incredible. The theme comes straight from the initial verse from The Geeta; “Yada Yadahi Dharmashya…….. Sambhawami Yuge Yuge” (The concept of Avatar in general)

@@sahithreddy4s4 we know that here these two characters are real life great revolutionaries but since most north Indians don't know about them so we create references from what we know - Ramayana. The movie's Bhim character resembles Ramayana's Lord Hanuman (references from Ramayana like Lanka burning, Lifting of bike is similar to Hanuman lifting mountain, Hanuman helping meet Lord Ram and Goddess Sita, Lord Ram on Hanuman's shoulder, also in the end Bhim bowing before Ram is similar to Lord Hanuman's devotion towards Lord Ram etc.) and Ram character resembles Lord Shri Ram. Once again by creating these references, our intention is not to offend you. It's just us north indian people's ignorance of south india's history. Still if it offends you, accept my apologies.

And one of the scene where he shows locket of Sita to Ram in the underground jail is also taken frm Ramayana where Lord Hanuman gives locket of Rama to Sita here they just interchanged that when Hanumanji visits Sitaji to show as a proof that he's sent by Ram...... It's great

My daughter once fell down and hurt both her knees. It was bleeding and she couldn't even stand straight. I somehow picked her up and laid her on the bed. My father went to our backyard garden, brought some leaves in his hand. Rubbed it in between his palms and put it on the wounds. Believe me, within seconds it stopped bleeding and to my surprise she even got up from the bed after about 5 mins and started playing again. And so I totally believe when Ram could just walk properly after being treated by Bheem.

**Background of this story** (Also the continuaton of this movie): The freedom fighters of Alluri Sita Rama Raju of Andhra Pradesh and Komaram Bheem of Telangana went away form their lands for nearly a decade before their revolution against the British and Islamic Nizams. This story is a fictional tale of what if they both met in the state of Delhi in that time, and inspired each other for the freedom movement. Komaram Bheem was from a tribe called Gond in the forests of current Telangana, he fought with the slogan "Jal Jangal Jameen" which means "Water Forest Land." Alluri Sita Rama Raju fought against the imperial police of the British and their tyrannical rule in India. He was a devotee of Lord Ram and always had the same attire with a bow and arrow just like Lord Ram (in real life). Hence, In the end, director SS Rajamouli showed that that the get up/inspiration of Lord Ram was given to character Ram by Bheem. And, the slogan "Jal Jangal Jameen" was given to Komaran Bheem by character Ram, which character Ram writes on the flag at the end. So it is assumed that after this movie's story, both of them went to rage huge revolutions in their respective regions. Yes, there are too many ironic movements in this movie. Even many Indian's didn't understood this because these movements were never thought in our history.

@@PolishIndianHeart OMG, Hey Monika. Big fan of your reactions. I wonder why you stopped. Hope you make some movie watch along videos. Anyways, as I was saying, the next story could be their real-life revolutions in their respective regions. The "Rampa Freedom Struggle (1922-1924)" led by Alluri Sita *RAMA* Raju and "Jal Jangal Jameen" movement led by Komaram *Bheem* including their guerilla warfare can be made as two separate bio-pic movies on their own.

The movie Characters references are from the freedom fighters themselves, not from mythology. The mythological references are used in bgms.. as these freedom fighters are actually revered by referring them as Lord Sri Rama and Bheemasen.. in many parts of Telugu states... Originally Alluri Sita Rama Raju, since he when to forests for helping tribals, actually used to wear Saffron clothing and used bow & arrows (was also a sharp shooter) It was his approach to stand as a symbol of inspiration for tribals to revolt against British in Visakhapatnam agency. (Some believe that Alluri Rama Raju taking "Sanyas" (divine way of living) after death of his love Sita, was the reason for his Saffron attire). Born in the West-Godavari (a district of present Indian state Andhra Pradesh), in a Telugu Kshatriya family to Alluri Venkata Rama Raju and his wife Suryanarayanamma. Sita really was the name of his lover and after her death he changed his name from Alluri Rama Raju to Alluri Sita Rama Raju. He used to do guerilla raids on British police stations for collecting guns and weapons by using an army of armed tribals by training them. It's said that it costed more than a million even in those days, for the british to capture and execute Rama Raju. Komaram Bheem, a tribal himself from gond tribes of Adilabad (a district of the present Indian state "Telangana") is rumoured to be an extremely strong man, and to hunt a tiger. He used muslim disguises during his revolt. He died fighting Nizam. In Telugu states (Andhra, Telangana) everyone knows these things, maybe not in other states. These are not made up for the sake of movie. They were referred as Sri Ram and Bheemasen (since long back before the movie even existed !!) from their names and features (Rama Raju's- Saffron Attire, his lover's name is "Sita", went to forests and made an army using tribals, man of extreme commitment, Komaram Bheem- Physical strength, Crude attacking nature, Perseverance) being similar to characteristics of Lord Ram from Ramayanam and Bheem from Mahabharatam and out of the level of reverence they've achieved from people. Both left their homes almost in the same period and then returned after some time and started their revolutions against British and Nizam respectively. After returning home, Rama Raju started wearing Saffron clothing till the day he died fighting for tribals, and Bheem came back as an educated man and started his rebellion with motto.. Jal, Jangal, Jameen.. with translates to Water, Forest & Soil.. As no one has a clear idea about what happened to them in that period when they left, and what made them become revolutionaries.. the movie writer wrote a Fictional story that they met and became friends and Bheem was the one who gave Rama Raju a Saffron attire and that he got educated himself from Rama Raju, connecting everything that was remembered in telugu people hearts.. if we see carefully, we can see all these details used in the movie clearly.. Other details : -Also The Indian Flag used throughout the movie was the older Berlin Committee Flag (designed by Madame Bhikaji Cama, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and Shyamji Krishna Varma) corresponding to the time period. (Current Indian flag was designed by Pingali Venkayya) -Rama Raju is also referred by people as "Manyam Dhora".. which translates to King/ Chief of the Wild Forests and Komaram Bheem is praised as "Gondu Bebbuli".. which translates to Ferocious Tiger of Gond tribes. These names are also referred in the Original Telugu version of movie (available on Zee5)

Bheem is from Mahabharata considered having a brute force of 100 elephants. So, NTR doing brute force action seems logical as he was derived from Bheem of Mahabharata. About the barbed wire - It is shown as a divide between Ram and Bheem in "Dosti" song. The wire is shown as broken after "Komaram bheemudo" song to show that Ram is set out to support Bheem over his aspirations. And in the climax the Lady Scott is shown to be covered in it. About Bheem recovering guns - it is a reference to how Hanuman brings Sanjeevini in Ramayan There are many such references which would be quite apparent to Indian audience and hence enjoyable. I agree in this process, some of the shots looked cheesy. But really appreciate the effort you guys had put in to review the movie :D :D

How could your Marathi gutka legend say Hindi is his mother tongue, while him being a Marathi person ñ If I were from Maharashtra, I would never say Hindi as national language too. Nobody knows that paan masala legend in South until RRR lol Yes so legendary that he cares only about money & endorse gutka with other two legends😂 According to me alia is better than Ajay because she learnt Telugu for RRR while our gutka legend said outright that he can't speak Telugu & continued to speak in Hindi. I liked Jr NTR too but the stand out and deeper performance is definitely Ram's and now I'm eager to find more movies of his to watch. I've also decided to invest time in learning Tamil and Telugu so that I can watch these movies as intended. Now that Hollywood is basically trash and Bollywood has a maximum of five good movies releasing each year I'm hoping this new foray into South Indian movies will glean me a new experience plus provide me with the entertainment that most other movie industry's are failing at right now.
