FYI as per law you are not required to pay service charge. Next time if you see a service charge, you can ask the waiter to remove it and they will get you a new bill without whatever percentage they are deducting. These are their tricks to getting more money out of your pocket.

Don't ever pay service charges. Govt has told customers to not pay. But restaurants add that in the bill and the customers who don't know anything they pay blindly. You can simply ask them to remove service charges they will do that immediately.

Btw you can ask them to remove the service charges, because it's in the law, you aren't supposed to add service charges in hotels anymore

Dnt pay service charge...woh koi bhi compulsory nahi kar sakte...always ask them to remove it from the bill if charged..
