As per my riding experience not on 457 but on other bikes, the castrol engine oil doesnt perform good in gear shifting. I would recommend using liqui moly engine oil along with the additive which made the gear shifts smoother

Brake pads wearing out in 6k kms is bad brother, it will be an expensive affair. No matter how good the braking is for a bike which costs 5L. I used to have a 390 Adv and I clocked more than 20k on the stock brake pads with amazing stopping power and they still had life left in it. But do posting the videos about the service once the free service is done, then we will get to know about the real ownership expenses. Happy riding Brother!

EXPENSIVE MY ASS!!!! it's A 500cc sports bike. Of course it will wear out soon, break pads aren't that expensive compared to the riding gear u will need in case the break fails

@@supermotosrinath7609 A good riding gear will cost you a minimum of 40k But the break pads cost you around 7-8k It’s a sporty machine so to stay safe I wouldn’t even think twice if I have to change the breakpads

Hi Prakash, I own a RS457 and am feeling the gear box to be very clunky and uncomfortable, I had ridden the test ride vehicle and also another new vehicle to see if I am the only one feeling this, turns out both of them have this issue. FYI I am not yet done with my first service. Would be great to know your inputs on this, thank you 🙂

Yeah bro. The gearbox is clunky in lower rpms. It smooths out after 4-5k rpm.

Hi bro, I just checked a few content creators they too mentioned the same problem, and it was resolved after the first service, so I suggest you not to worry and have patience until your 1st service

Hey dude, some say that the foot pegs flex excessively. Is that true? How about the paint quality? Some says that the paint fades easily.

Thanks for the review. Just 1 question. Why did you need to change sintered brake pads in less than 4000 kms of usage (before your long trip). Is the pad life so low in spite of being sintered ? Do you brake hard or use only the front brake always ?

Hi bro, i took the test ride of RS 457 some weeks back and I found the gears were hard or getting stuck, is that the case? I saw couple other owners also saying same.

Yes, even on my aprilia, they are clunky, especially on lower rpms while down shifting. But I got used to it. But if you put a quick shifter offered by aprilia, the shifting becomes buttery smooth.

I am planning to book one and i have seen your 2nd service cost video also, service cost is on a higher side according to me for a 5lac rupee bike. Anyway Can you fit the Duke 390 air filter on aprillia rs457? As its own air filter is way too expensive and the service cost of the bike is making me think whether to bike this or duke 390

I checked the the side of duke 390 air filter, the size is same but the clips are not matching, hence duke 390's Air filter cannot be used in RS 457

@prakashsuraj6495 That's bad news can it be retro fitted? Like Indian Jugaad se? As everytime 1.5k se air filter change is a pain and i am really confused between 390 duke and rs457 just because of the maintenance cost. And have no idea how much the body panels and lights cost.

Yep, me too have that left side drag issue , I told them to check alignment during service and they said it's fine and gave some explanation like the centre of mass of bike is little off to left due to camshaft.

@@Wanderlustmedicrjs you can feel it around 85 to 95 kmph , especially over the right hand side but when the engine revs past 5000 RPM it reduces, I don't feel vibration as a major issue
