Kumily / Thekkady is located on Kottayam - Theni - Madurai highway. From Kumily town Thekkady is just 1.4 km.
Periyar Tiger Reserve in Thekkady is one of the oldest tiger reserve in India. A boating through the Periyar lake is a great experienc, and a chance to see bisons, Indian Gaur, Elephants during the trip.
The trip cost Rs 255 for adults and Rs 85 for children.
