Күн бұрынThe highly anticipated RS / Honeycomb grill, a must do modification? the modification that most people want the most? or just overdone? I have to admit after buying one of these grills I wasn't sure about how it would look on my car but I was determined to fit one and find out. Check out the video to watch the problems (as always) I ran into and find out what it looked like... spoiler - it looked UNREAL!

You inspired me Mati, took me ages mainly because I had a rounded off T30. Got about 7 spare T25 and 30 screws(inside of the old grill). So satisfied I managed to do it myself.

Just bought a facelift 8P S3 so gonna get this soon! Were you able to just use the chrome rings from the OE grill? Also how did you attach the number plate to the holder mate?

Cheers for the inspiration. Think from reading in the comments and your video I’m gonna get the kit with the fog light surrounds. Shortened plate and twist clips for the plate. Silver badge the same 🎉

I have an audi a3 8p 2004. My bumper doesn't have any screws around the grill? It just clips out. I'm trying to find a grill for my car but there doesn't seem to be one without any screws? Any help?

To be honest mate its hard to say as I have nothing to compare it to, I wouldn’t say its good quality as theres quite a bit of excess from the mouldings etc but It may be better than some others? Who knows

Hey I need help can anyone tell me of this grill will fit the (Audi a3 sportsback edition ) I don’t see anything on there website about saying it will fit the sportsback edition but it does say Audi a3 and the same year as mine please can someone help ?

Front bumpers are the same, just need to make sure it's correct for facelift/prefacelift

The screws are found at the back of the grill bumper so you can’t see the screws unless you remove the whole thing first..

Changing grill brilliant but silver badge still gives old look. So please change it to black. I have A3 convertible white black edition. I am going to do it in couple of days time in front black. Wish me luck. Anyways thanks for the clip to share skills.

Silver suits, but see if you can get the matching honey grills for the park lights, makes a huge difference aswell

you should have gotten a thicker black AUDI logo so it stands out as much as the original silver one. The low-profile badge looks strange!

Mati, I'm across the pond, and haven't had any luck finding a grill that would fit my car that doesn't have the static Lic Plate holder. I have a 2011 A3 5 Door, and need that exact grill. Could you post link as to where you purchased that grill at. Also wanted to say, new to the Channel, and it's nice to see someone as clueless (sometimes) as myself, still getting their hands dirty. Keep up the good work.

Type in “Audi A3 8P CT Carbon Grille” on eBay and it should be the first one that pops up, hope that helps

I think the grille sizes are the same between A3/A3-Sline/S3 on the 8p chassis. Look up gbt-autostyling on eBay, they’ve got one which is a bit more expensive than ct carbon one but it states in the description that it fits all A3 8p models (if you wanted to go the safer route).

18 x 7.5 these ones mate, might get some spacers and a subtle drop and should be good to go!

Good for showing but you did that t he absolute hardest way possible. There’s no need to remove the bumper you only have to drop 9 bolts top and sides and it stops the bumper coming unaligned doing so

Needed to paint the crash bar behind it all though mate so did really need to come off! haven't seen anyone do it without removing the bumper but would be ideal if you could!

You absolutely should have gone for the S3 grill. Its millions times better than the rs3 grill on a black paint
