An RSI Divergence trading strategy will help you find the best possible entry for your trade when used correctly. RSI Divergence or Relative Strength index Divergence shws traders a loss of momentum and suggests the price will go the opposite direction. When looking for an RSI Divergence it is important to no that depending on the momentum of the price action it may continue in that direction before fully reversing.

Using divergence is a popular way to identify potential trading opportunities. But how does it work and when does it stop working?
RSI Divergence occurs when the Relative Strength Index indicator starts reversing before price does. A bearish divergence consists of an overbought RSI reading, followed by lower high on RSI. At the same time, price must make a higher high on the second peak, where the RSI is lower. In a bullish divergence situation, there must be an oversold condition on the RSI, followed by a higher low on the RSI graph. Simultaneously, price must form a lower low on the second peak.

This is what I needed to watch and learn. I watched this video 5 times and wrote down every detail to learn this by heart as getting in too early to short has worked against me before several times (when there clearly was negative divergence, etc). Just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your hard work and creating those very helpful videos and I will definitely trade on higher tf's (such as 15m, 30m 1hr) than anything lower than those. I seriously appreciate you so much for sharing this with all of us!

1:50 (!) I changed RSI levels to 50/50 and it became a very useful indication, thanks. Transition across the 50 line clearly correlates to price actions.

Thanks, I watching your trading videos and are very good tutorials. However need your advise on: 1) which chart time frame (15m, 30m 1hr or 4hr on MT4) is easier to identify good trade opportunities? 2) If open a trade using 15m chart time frame; is it best to use back 15min chart time frame to close the trade or higher time frame of 1 hr to close at bigger pips? nice thinking : the "staircase" up is also a 3-drive trendline, which is also a divergent pattern to wait for. basically the 3rd divergent touch is the better one to wait for (regardless of timeframe)

OMG! This is the reason why I dumped using the RSI divergence though I know it's powerful. I normally got too early so I kept on losing my previous gains and then eventually blown that account Lol!
