Күн бұрын#Mumbai #Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor (MAHSR), or Mumbai Ahmedabad bullet train , is an under-construction high-speed rail line, which will connect India's economic and financial hub, Mumbai, with the largest city of the state of Gujarat, Ahmedabad. When completed, it will be India's first high-speed rail line.
Construction was expected to begin by April 2020, and the project was expected to be completed by December 2023. Due to delays acquiring land in Maharashtra, a completion date for the whole corridor is uncertain, though the 352 km section through Gujarat will fully open in 2027, after opening the section's 50 km (31 mi) stretch, from Surat to Bilimora, in August 2026.

Amount of work needed is crazy! 🙆♂🙆♂ And this is just 500 kms... Even if it becomes fully operational in 5-6 years from now, we should be lucky. 😅 Can't imagine the work, cost and time needed for a potential bullet train between Kolkata-Mumbai or Bangalore-Delhi.

So what do you want...! Atleast we are starting... Had it been previous govt, this very thought was not possible... Just see how Gujrat part is going faster then Maharashtra... Due to congress allied shiv Shena, project in MH was very slow and land acquisition process was also very negligible... But now after Eknath Shinde, MH work is also picking up the pace...

Bullet train maximum straight line me chalti hai aur road kabhi bhi straight line me nahi chalti isi ke karan delhi - varanasi Bullet train ka route cancel kia gaya tha. Aur ye possible nahi hai engineers hamse jyaada jaante hain.

Hum jo kahen hain usme technical pench e nahi ba ki road seedhi hai ya ki ulti( waise seedhi to bhai ya lugai nahi chalti bulletwa kaise chalegi), pench hai ki bhaiya uue jo Jameeniya hai uue NHAI ki hai, Rhailwaz main kaisen chala jaiba. India's first high-speed rail has so far become a joke internationally. 1. India's first high-speed rail project started construction in Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat, on September 14, 2017 local time. 2. On July 23, 2021, it was reported that the progress of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR) project under construction was delayed due to the slow progress of land acquisition in Maharashtra. 3. On June 14, 2022, according to the "Nihon Keizai Shimbun", the high-speed rail connects Mumbai, a commercial city in Maharashtra, and Ahmedabad, an industrial city in Gujarat, with a total length of 508 kilometers. Since the start of construction in 2017, only about 10 kilometers have been built so far. At present, it has been confirmed that it will be postponed until at least 2028, and no one knows whether it will be completed on schedule in 2028. The irony is that the "Jawan High-speed Railway" and "China-Laos High-speed Railway" built by China for Indonesia and Laos have been completed and opened to traffic.
