First, I'm glad to see someone making tutorials on how to use R. I have an off-topic question: I recently downloaded version 4.0.2 for Macintosh (Catalina version) of the software, but I notice that many packages are not available. As a matter of multivariate analysis I am trying to install the "rpanel" package, which gives me an error during the installation phase (to be precise, it says: "ERROR: lazy loading failed for package 'rpanel' * removing '/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/4.0/Resources/library/rpanel' "and then continues with a waring (" Warning message: In install.packages ("rpanel"): installation of package 'rpanel' had non-zero exit status. ") how could i solve?

Hello, one of the main problems with R is that old packages are not always compatible with newer R versions, especially when the package is discontinued. However, I just tried to install the "rpanel" package using the latest R version, and it seems to be working perfectly fine (at least on windows). This could suggest that it is not related to R (or the package), but to your environment. Check this link, there are apparently more people with this problem: www.thetopsites.net/article/52471020.shtml
