The joy we feel for something we once took for granted, eh? It's quite amazing how lucky we are to be able to talk, sit upright, walk, shower, and thumbs up. We got a new reminder of that after this accident! Ride safe ❤️

At first the filming was mostly for our own sake, so Kenneth could see what had happened to him when he woke up, but he decided to edit it and include it in the videos, so glad you enjoyed the video 🙂

You are right. This accident was a huge wakeup call, bot regarding our preparations, skill level and riding style and the fact that we realised how fragile life is. You never now what can happen, so better enjoy every moment. Cant wait to get back on the bike again!

Yeah she was struggle long with a lot ever since she was a small child, but the person I knew was incredibly strong and resilient. But everyone has their breaking point 😔

A broken collarbone is not nothing. I have luckily never fractured mine but I imagine that is very painful too. The continuation of our journey has to wait until the snow melts, but by then we will be fit to leave as well 🙂

Yeah the recovery was relatively quick. Much thanks to Pia who kept pushing me to do exercises, getting out of bed to move around and stuff even though I felt like shit! She has helped a lot! Now the goal is to get back to full form and be able to lift the bike again after a fall 😝

@@RidetheBean Like to say I would if I could . My Tenere is back at the dealership again . They came and picked it up this time . Looks like I got a defective battery so they're getting a new OEM one that's covered by warranty . I don't even want a lead acid battery , I want a light weight lithium battery . Anything to save and drop weight on that thing . So that will be the 3rd time back in the shop . I have a feeling it won't be the last . This bs virus scam that is destroying every economy except the billionaire elites getting old real quick and I can't even talk about the fraud of an election we are being steamrolled into . If we don't do something about it soon most guys like me will be put in prison for typing things like this let alone other things . Lots of people are stock piling food ammo and whatnot because of what is coming . Apologies for ranting but I am so sick of this crap . So sick of seeing all our hard fought freedoms being stolen by fear mongering power hungry criminal puppets . My mother's family was part of a network of patriotic Swedes and Norwegians during WWII . My Mormor took my mom when she was a little girl of the train back and forth between Sweden and Norway . They had hidden documents that were used to get people out of serious deadly dangers from real Nazi's . At the end of the war my great grandmother was asked by the king of Norway if wanted to be one of the executioners of Quizling . She politely said thank you but she thought there had been enough killing . Many people's lives were saved by the things my Mormor and her mother and father did during that time . I am so pissed off that I just want to buy a sailboat and just leave and never look back . Looks like I might never get a chance to go back to Sweden and Gotland and find that farm in Gotland where my dead brother and I planted a birch tree with the family that owned the farm . They had that farm since at least 700 years if I remember correctly . That was my dream last year , to ride my motorcycle across Scandinavia and visit relatives that I barely know and see old places and homes we visited when I was young . I remember borrowing my Mormors folding bike and riding from her house in Kungsbacka several miles to this candy store near the beach . They had the best popsicles chocolate and sodas I ever had . After finding that store and getting my stash of goodies I just couldn't find my way back . I got lost in this small town and had to go back to the store and ask if I could use their phone . My grandmother showed up and we drove back and she showed me where I made my mistake . I was just 10 almost 11 years old then , great memories . Well it's getting pretty late over here and I have a ton of cleaning up to do in my garage . Took it apart to get better organized so I can work on or just have room for my motorcycles . What a crazy year . Still can't believe what happened to you guys . I have been in some terrible car crashes and am very very fortunate and blessed to be alive but I never needed surgery like what you went through . They should put a bridge over that place you crashed into and name it after you , I am serious . And you should get compensation for all you've gone through . That should never have happened . Total negligence and irresponsibility by those that should have at least put sign there . Okay that's enough out of me , haha . Both of you take care now .
