I recently purchased 2 separate orders from RTI. Both M1891 Carcano cavalry carbines. Very pleased with both. I'm aware of their reputation. I'll buy again, but I expect at some point to be disappointed. Besides, who else has their inventory and pricing? If you purchase where you can hold the rifle, the markups are ridiculous, for what you may get cheaper from RTI. It's your $, spend it how and where you want.

RTI is a Hit or Miss place to buy from. I have bought many rifles from them. 2 of them were a complete refurbished M1 garand & a Mas 49/56. Both of them are absolutely gorgeous with Beautiful bores. But.!, from the 3 enfields, 1 M48, 1 98k, and others. All the barrel/bores are complete garbage. So I don't mind cleaning, rebluing, plenty of elbow grease. I enjoy working and redoing guns. But I also like to shoot them. So again.!, it's a very Hit or Miss. So 80% of RTI's guns are mostly great wall hangers

I have four WWI rifles from RTI and they cleaned up nicely. Had to buy some spare parts and still looking for a cleaning rod for the M91 Carcano, but over all not bad.

My issue with RTI/IO has always been the bore condition. But as you stated, they post the information, we take the gamble so its on us in the end most of the time. Good luck with your channel and all the best moving forwarded. Subscribed.

Awesome M95! I bought several guns from RTI. I’d say I’m usually pleased with what I get. I did get 4 carcanos and was very happy with those! Excellence bores and cleaned up nicely. Keep doing videos! Your first was good. 👍

order from RTI one time, 2 carcano's advertised being in complete and in good to very condition. Received one with pitting and rust below woodline, the second could not be disassembled due to a barrel band retaining bolt missing its head. Called RTI and they said return it for an exchange. Problem is need to pay for yet another FFL transfer $53. I asked them to send a replacement bolt and barrel band instead. No Response. Wont order from them a second time, almost as bad a hunters lodge

They do list things that could be wrong, but sometimes you get things they missed. There was a time when that would happen, and they wouldn't answer your customer support requests, but that has improved.

I be buying from RTI a lot. I even bought one of their fair condition carcano carbines. It has everything but piece of the wood from the stock broke off but happy with it. I can replace the stock with something else or repair it by adding in a chunk of wood. I do say I got burnt on a hand-select Mannlicher 1895 rifle which was a sewer-pipe (which I got full refund on) and the $150 carcano without the handguard. The description didn't mention it would have a crack on the stock and there is one screw without a screwhead that I need to drill out but nevertheless the rifling/bore was on it. The current problem I do have is a bore obstruction in a gras rifle but I think it can be revolved with penetrating grease. I plan to get that done on Friday. But the good ones I bought were a B grade enfield mk3 (last year), b grade gras carbine, $100 fair condition carcano, very good/excellent condition carcano ($139 Memorial Day Sale), Mannlicher 1888/90, C Grade Enfield mk3 Ishapore, B grade VZ-52, B Grade Lebel 1886, B Grade Mannlicher 1895 carbine (last year), Swiss K11 rifle with sling and muzzle cap, and B Grade Carcano 1891 long rifle. I am still wanting a Mannlicher 1895 rifle though despite being burnt on that. So far, my experiences with RTI are above average. They are improving. My only concern is the change in shipping prices being expensive but that ought to be the state of the economy or whatever so I have no right to complain on that. Just no more fun money to splash on and get my hands dirty with.

I like RTI for the most part, done some reviews myself however I’ve had bad luck with their Carcano 1891 long rifle with loose barrel problems

I actually have a Yugoslavia M48a myself. I recently purchased from someone months ago. It is pretty damn good for the price of $450 (+$50 in shipping). $100 off compare to Gunbroker but he is a good friend.

RTI still seems to be hit or miss…. Honestly the new customer service rep Kylie or whatever her name is is great I think 99.9% of the problem is Uli himself. He just seems shady And is the man that sets the prices on everything RTIs statements regarding condition are very vague and transparent And I can 100% confirm When they say that they test fire and or function test rifles…. That is a lie…. I’ve ordered 3 rifles from RTI 2 m1 garands with 99% correct descriptions However they both said “ function tested and test fired with 2 rounds….. and ultrasonic cleaned….. the first m1 I got was great just fucking filthy inside…. The second one….. was also good. But both rifles had obviously never been fired since import…. And the second one had a busted clip eject/ safety spring…. So it would not eject an empty enbloc easy fix But it just proved that they aren’t doing full function tests….. they aren’t test firing…. And they are way to filthy to have ever been dipped in an ultrasonic…. However both of my RTI M1s cleaned up very well and gave really good bored The third I ordered was a B grade vetterli 70/87/15. Which I haven’t received yet. So we’ll see….. I’ve talked to a guy that got a “test fired “ rifle from them that had a cracked receiver….. Customer service from RTI tends to be great now. But you still have to be careful and willing to roll the dice….

It’s hit or miss with RTI sometimes you luck out like my last carcano and sometimes you lose with a destroyed bore. For 199 I think it’s worth the gamble but not for 500 plus. Also how are the bores on these?

It’s a non-drill rail Design to click right into the existing front sight Super great product Best part about it is it completely preserves the rifle!😊

What the hell we know they fudge their reviews with their grading system, missing parts getting RTI shill vibes
