Despite not being biological, I love that Oda still added similarities in character designs with the three brothers! Luffy and Sabo both also became friends with former female slaves of Celestial Dragons. Sabo really has been through a lot...losing your memories and as soon as you regain them, you find out one of your brothers is dead 😢

I like how Rob talked shit about ace the last episode and then denied that he cried when ace died when he actually was crying fr and pat actually said “ This nigga Rob making me wanna cry” no wonder he hardly said anything when the topic got brought up he didn’t cry for any of these scenes in dressrosa tho but talked shit about how much emotion aces death had

Idc who u prefer more Ace or sabo but regardless of what BOTHHHH brothers definitely are strong caring brothers who loved there little brother enouph to risk there lives for him it’s unfortunate what happened to Sabo and Ik if he had his memory he would’ve def came for Ace but Ace def gave his life for luffy regardless of what ppl say about him making a stupid decision or turning back he got ina way of Akainu bout to kill luffy and he was the one w luffy them 6 years training and getting stronger to become pirates 💯💯💯 and Ace was the strongest when they were kids so just imagine how strong he would be now but Sabo def holding the torch down now as older brother

I understand when people dislike comparison for example with Zoro and Sanji. But Ace is literally dead and we didnt get much of him. It's completely reasonable to like one character more than another if you simply have more to go off of when comparing. Plus, Ace's hotheaded character literally got him killed. If he had lived in Marineford, guarantee people would have liked him more.

Yea it was crazy too cause it was just constant doubt sabo was alive until dressrosa because if he were alive why didn't he go try to save ace as well. Then after his reveal people questioned him not saving ace. Memory loss was so simple but explained everything so perfectly that it was overlooked due to being so out in the open/obvious.

I know people love the Sabo reveal, but honestly its terrible. Theres no way Sabo didn't know about Ace. Ace was well known 2nd divison commander to the WB pirates and 500 million bounty. The same goes for all the news about Luffy. Your telling me he didnt see that Luffy beat Crocodile? And the same goes the other way. How could Ace not know about Sabo? People recognize him right away, as the 2nd in command to the revolutionary army. And if all that didnt fail, how could GARP not know. The heroe of the Marines doesn't know about the #2 in the revolutionary army?? Not to mention, Sabo literally traveller for years with someone named "Monkey D"...

Sabo didn't get his memories just because he saw ace's death. In newspaper there are 3 names. Ace, Luffy and Sakazuki. Sakazuki also the name of the ceremony that made them brothers. Poor Sabo.

No. Him and Ace are equals. Both will or have put their life on the line for Luffy and the people they love. As far as strength we haven't seen Ace fight much. He stopped smoker from chasing the Straw Hats with both their devil fruits naturally canceling each other out. He beat Jinbei who is pretty strong even though it was close to a draw. He lost to Blackbeard who is now a Yonko and probably the final villain. He lost to Akainu who was a Admiral and now the Fleet Admiral. His 2 losses come from top 7 characters in terms of strength in the One Piece world. Sabo is definitely versatile and is stronger than Ace based on the story. It's unfortunate Oda didn't give Ace enough time in the story to show his strength and didn't introduce all these Haki feets until near the end of pre time skip.

Bro it triggers me so hard that people actually think Sabo is a good character. Everyone who is a "Sabo fan" just thinks he looks cool, that's it. Claiming he's the best brother when we still know nothing about him, is kind of wild. Even up to date in the manga we still don't know shit about this character. The only way in my mind for Sabo to ever have a place in this story, is if his agenda clashes with Luffy's in the end and they have to face off. Otherwise he'll only ever be an Ace replacement that was shoehorned into the story.

In the flashbacks he was always nice and supportive of Luffy, even when Ace was still being an ass to him. Dressrosa arc was him giving even more help (with his allies) to Luffy and his crew than Ace ever did in Alabasta. Sabos group even help take care of Robin for 2 years. So there's a lot of reason why to like him more than Ace. Plus, a lot of people really hate Ace for getting himself killed, when there were so many opportunities for them to escape.

@@AwoL5503 No it's not the same thing at all. Mihawk didn't get killed than get replaced by his pirate brother who happens to also be just as strong as him. Having mysterious characters in a story is fine, creating the same character twice is not. I feel like Oda just added him because he couldn't commit to killing Luffy's brother for some story reason, so he invented Sabo to fill that gap.

Also Sabo as a kid and Sabo as an adult feel like two completely different characters. All of the things about his character that made him stand out are gone.
