!!BACKGROUND INFO!! CL was actually set to make her American debut. LIFTES was supposed to be the "debut" song but apparently that isn't the case and was more like a pre-release track(?). She did perform this on the Late Late show with James Corden and it did do well on the Billboard charts. However, her US debut has been delayed sooooooo long that we're not really sure when she will officially release her album. The following year after this song was released, her group 2NE1 officially disbaned and she's also had some issues in her personal life which has affected this journey of debuting in the US. Also YGs management has been severely lacking with many of his artists. I HOPE we get to hear her new music this year. She has so much potential to do amazingly well in the US and is already living in LA and is under Scooter Braun's management. So I hope we get to hear this album soon!
