Currently playing Baldurs Gate 3 on 4790K and RTX 2060 on Ultra settings and res. 1920 x 1200. Most of time got 60 FPS, but I am still in Act One of the game.

Great video quality and very helpful for us users. I have a i7 4790 non K version with a GTX1650 OC DDR6 version GPU running 24GB 1600Mhz ram and most games works fine. Can you share if elden rings stutters or was it just the video capture issue Also I would love to have ur afterburner profile if you can share

Eu fiz isso, digo que o stuttering atrapalha bastante. Uso atualmente um 4790k e subi o clock para 4.7GHz. depois de 10 anos, acho que é a hora de atualizar o processador

I posted this on another video but want to share it here as well. "I think most people will hate this comment, but I think that it's horrible that the processing power of GPU's has come so far and yet the realistic detail of modern games leaves so much to be desired. Is it just me or does it seem like modern games just eat up more raw power while they deliver very little improvement on what 2gb cards did at 1080p ? Seems to me that the newer games are just optimized to favor newer GPU's and make the older obsolete while the manufacturers are the only ones getting any realistic gains. So many gamers are just addicted to being able to run the latest and the greatest without even taking notice that it really isn't that great at all. " Case in point! 2:39 Elden ring. Lets be real, should graphics this poor really run so slow on a GPU that can realistically compete with a first gen Titan? (Actually it'll probably eat the Titan for lunch realistically)

Yeah, the 3060 (Even the normal, 12gb version) its stronger than a titan V, and the titan pascal.

Hey, just got a question, could you share whether or not you optimized your windows for playing, or you just simply ignored all optimizations and played this way, I have the exact same setup, and I get really bad frames per second, sad.

What cheap and more recent cpus could be worth buying? I thought building a oc with i7 3770/4770, then i thought why not find a more recent i5 or i7 with higher performance but also old and cheap.

Core i5 4690K or i7 4790K its a good choice , just use a good cpu cooler if you want to oc your cpu

@@XpcBenchmark I don't have a pc yet. I will start from scratch. The gpu i plan to buy 3060ti/4060ti or 6700xt/6800xt nothing less. I wamt to invest the most in gpu since that's most important. I found used 2080rtx and 6800 amd at the price of new 4060ti/6700xt which are the same price in my country.

Should upgrade your ram to 16go 8x2 maybe should your pau to 650w , just remember you RTX 3060 Ti need a i7 9700K or greater , your cpu bottleneck in some open world games but it’s workings in a lot of games

I have a similar setup with a 4790k, 3060ti, and 24gb of 2166mhz ddr3. My 4790k is OCed to 4.6 ghz getting great frame rates above a 120 fps in games like apex at 1440p. I'd go for it there is minimal bottlenecking with this setup.

currently using an i5 8400 with Rtx 3060 which is bottlenecking, i want to upgrade my i5 8400 but unsure on what to get as i will also be upgrading graphics card at some point to a 40series, I'm stuck on what to do as i don't want to buy a CPU and then when i buy a 40series card having to upgrade cpu again

Купил asus tuf 3060ti все отлично, игры на максималках, монитор fhd, процессору приходится туго загружен на 100% , нужен хороший охлад , башня помогает, все отлично я рад.

Using unlocked with a stock motherboard and a standard psu not brand , second option i7 4790k can’t turn perfectly your 4060 Ti

There is no such thing as bottleneck just the cpu is old and less performant compared newer cpus but is still playable on 1080 with proper mid/high settings

@@D-2-the-no agree, but this cpu in cyberpunk hits 60-70% and gpu goes almost 99 and yes cpu in this video is old and its chip aint that fast and modern as newer ones to proceed everything w/o lag anyways suprisingly its still good and its bottleneck is that newer cpus are just faster and more performant thats all

Man, increase the resolution to 1440 or 4k, and the bottleneck will be your GPU. Nobody plays RTX 3060Ti at 1080p. I wonder why you didn't put some 13900k + 4090 at 240p....

I think, the 2060 is the max gpu you can combine with 4790k. Even if this cpu is overclocked to 5Ghz, the 3060ti is to strong. you are 30-40% bottlenecked...waste of money imo

CPU only running 60-70% wouldn't call that a bottleneck 1:40 even here, GPU at +90% and CPU still bellow 60% - Not a bottleneck

the CPU is NOT overclocked People buy the K version so that they can OC Just put 1.3volts and max the all core to 4.7ghz easy , then lets see the numbers

Not 4.7ghz easily @ 1.3... The average 4770K or 4790K hits a wall at 4.5ghz. If you get 4.7 @ 1.3..you have a good chip.
