In this comprehensive showdown, we pit four of the latest and most powerful graphics cards against each other: the NVIDIA RTX 4090, AMD RX 7900 XTX, NVIDIA RTX 4080 SUPER, and AMD RX 7900 XT. To provide a thorough analysis, we tested these GPUs across 11 popular and demanding games, examining their performance in ultra settings 1080p, 1440p and 4k resolutions.

amd drivers gets better and better... first i got many problems with my 7900 xt but now.. no problem left i swear. AMD Driver for me now is better than Nvidia .. but for Overclockers you have to know that your CPU overclock can be a reason for GPU driver crash (Just save your GPU Driver Profil)

DLSS and Raytracing are great tools for gamers. Raytracing is beautiful and eventually every gamer will use it. In 5 years your true gamers will all care about raytracing.

Man oh man I ain't sorry for going with the Rx7900xtx I came to this video because lately I've been wondering what if I splurged a bit more for the 4090 but no 1k extra ain't worth the 15fps… I never use upscalers I reduce shadow and fog…

The people that paid a extra $600 to $1000 for 10 to 30 more frames are complete morons, I am Glad I bought the 7900XTX, and no I don't like Ray Tracing it makes everything look like Tires with Armor All, if I did I would of bought the 4080 Super.

@@hdz77 your 7900xtx will only go more and more down. eventually youll be able to buy it for 600 bucks. Maybe less. The 4090, will stay at a good price tag. There are even some people who bought it at and made profit from it. AMD GPU's are just not valueable my man. Let people spend more money on better quality GPU's, with better performance, cooling, power consumption, raytracing and all the added Nvidia software.

Y'all brothers are hilarious. These GPU's are no more than 3 years old, and y'all are already waiting for the next new card...lol. these cards are meant to last for around 10 years, which is why they cost a lot. Ask yourselves this question? Why do you want a new GPU already? The games and performance are already running well, and the graphics are excellent. What are you gonna use the GPU for? Is it for video editing, gaming, A.I etc, if you are using it for those things, then yes, get a high-end GPU, but if you are only gaming and trying to show it off to people you are wasting your time. The real reality is to get what works best for you and your needs, not to show it off to impress people. Have a good day.

10 Years is too much for top tier graphics. Compare than 980 ti with today titles. No 4k for sure,1080p max. Not event high settings. If U want to have best visuals,u will need to change GPU way faster

The devs that made Spiderman are absolute Genius!!!!!!! The latest update to the game allows my system to run full 4K ultra at 144hz on a liquid cooled 6800xt!!!!!!! I remember last year when the devs added support for 16 core cpu's. I wish other devs would take advantage of at least more than 1 core like the spidey devs did. If you are using RT, then you did. Even if you don't, the XTX is only marginally faster in rasterizing workloads. Honestly, I have the 7900 XTX and wish I bought the 4080 Ultra instead.

Ancients game plays has great benchmarks with full game images. You can have lots of fps but screen looks like s...t I'd prefer Quality than a simple fps number 😂

I used to have RX 7900 XT. Malfunktioned Twice. And Twice repaired. Still broken. Very disappointed AMD. Currently running on RTX 3090Ti and never had any problem. I’ll stick with Nvidia in the future.

Honestly fanboying over these two is just bad for all the consumers, because green bois are like yaas queen yaass, while ngreedia keeps raising their prices. So their direct competitor AMD just follows ngreedias pricing structure. They aren't competing they're coercing to increase the price. rtx 4080 was released on November 16, 2022 for $1,200, then 7900 xtx released on December 13, 2022 for $999, so ngreedia released 4080 super on January 31, 2024 for $999 to have the same price instead of going ever just a few dollars lowers. And since AMD said they don't want to compete with the 4090 ngreedia just way overboard it's price should've just been around $1,300-1,400.

This test is not very realistic. Real-time tests are much better. And above all, we cannot see the consumption and temperature of the GPUs. For my part, I opted for a 4080 super Founders edition. The 7900 xtx Asrock Taïchi was slightly more expensive. The 4080 super consumes much less for the same number of fps. There are often more than 50 watts more for the 7900 xtx. Energy efficiency is the best for the 4080 super. On the techpowerup test: 4 watts for a Frame and 5.1 watts for a Frame for 7900 xtx. And then whatever anyone says. With ray tracing activated: performance is significantly higher + drivers + software of better quality.

@@dinakshow924 Yes ! Nvidia RTX 4080 super FE ordered from the Nvidia FRANCE LDLC store. 1109 EUROS for the 4080SUPER FE and 1149 euros for the ASROK 7900xtx Taichi. So I chose Nvidia...

Everybody keeps saying amd driver get better and betre.r yet this year nvidia has. Every driver keeps adding at least 2 fps on average. This latest one added 2 to 6fps on average in each game I've tested it's why the 4080 super keeps getting more and more fps it's maturing very nicely. It's also why it's now neck and neck in raster with the 7900xtx. And we all know what happens when we involve a little tech into the conversation 😉 this I'd one of the only generations I've seen such nice performance increases from nvidia Also something to note idk why you got 57fps on 4k ultra with the strix 4080 super I have. I'm getting 64fps on average now. Maybe the latest driver helped idk as I just started playing it.

Why can't any of them reach 240 at even 1080p how can that be possible I have seen many benchmarks getting above 240

It is very hard to achieve 240 FPS with ultra settings as those games are very demanding (cyberpunk, the last of us, alan wake 2 etc...). The benchmarks you see may be using custom settings or DLSS."

because this is the reality ahahahahahha you really think the RTX 4090 is that much more powerfull then a Rx7900xt ? nha not really. I say every generation of GPU's that 4k gaming is BS and it is not ready because 1440p high refresh rate is the way to go but 4k is kinda pointless. So you get 20 more fps for double or tripple the money you spend ... graz and in 2 years you get a GPU that cost 50% less and have 10 fps more ... awesome. This is why a RTX 3090 / 4090 is bad and i can say the same about Rx7900xt/xtx but this cards cost way less then a RTX 4080 (non super) this is the point here.

In terms of raw performances Rtx beats xtx with 10-15% margin which doesn't even matter in real life so for most of the people rtx 4090 doesn't makes any sense after considering its price. I am a fan of Amd for a very long time now i think Amd is more consumer centric company than Nvidia

Yes! There is FSR which will work for all GPU'S, DLSS is for Nvidia and XESS is for intel GPU.

In 4K resolution with all settings maxed out and without DLSS 3, yes you will get 100 FPS or less, depending on the game. Also If ray tracing is enabled, even the RTX 4090 might struggles to reach 60 FPS in 4K resolution in games like Cyberpunk 2077 and The Last of Us...... However, in these games, you can lower some settings a little bit and enable DLSS. The image quality still looks good in 4K, and you will achieve a good FPS."

@@videocardzrule354 7900XTX and 4080 Super have pretty much the same performance, but the 7900 is cheaper alot has happen over the year with drivers. if you doubt it check 3d mark port royal results and you will see the XTX pulls ahead over the 4080S.
