Team damage calcs are so much better than the dubious personal damage charts. Sure, not everyone runs her on RM at all times but it's a realistic number that helps gauging the effective power increase much better, especially because the personal damage calcs from others are also done in team comps and not as a solo unit.

I was going to comment the opposite, there are lots of guides that assume you have a specific team of supporting cast which I do not find very helpful - I play very casually I only own 2 premium 5 star characters (Seele and Fu Xuan) I've been thinking about trying to get firefly because I want a hard hitting character that deals fire damage (fire weak enemies are a big gap for me at the moment) but every you tube guide I've tried to look at keeps assuming you have all these other characters I just want a guide that explains the benefits of various light cones and artifact sets - with nothing else assumed.

@@LeaksHater that would have worked in normal hyper carry comp but super break in such a unique position that almost everyone can be a DPS if they have high enough BE or toughness break

@@orein1880 How much a character affects the rest of the team's damage, ok team damage is fine then, but something like a weapon which just increases a single character's output is better compared solo imo. Though it doesn't really change anything, I guess. The difference in the number just becomes lower when comparing team dmg.

i noticed Gallagher's auto behaviour improves significantly. now he use his ult the moment enemies got fire weakness implanted, when besotted expired, or when sp was low. much smarter than most players on manual tbh

Honestly out of everything (aside from lore/aesthetics) the characters implanting weakness is really what makes me fall in love with them, pretty much guaranteeing that you can run a team with them and get what you want out of it. I've been rotating around my silver wolf to enable teams and she ended up as near dedicated acheron support to grant elec weakness + bugs if needed. A shame I missed out on Boothill , but I will definitely grab him when he gets back, but now I have Firefly to enable a specific, and more fire-based, team.

They've been so generous with weakness implant lately that I'm almost certain we'll get enemies with no weakness break mechanic at all in the near future. We can never have it too good.

I went S1 solely because the other 4-stars are top tier, Memories of the Past is on the banner as well as Eyes of the Prey for DoT characters. Got S1 FF LC, S5 MOTP for my Trailblazer, S4 EOTP for my Swan, great lightcone pull for me lol.

Firefly is insane! but just for the E1 vs S1, the LC is easier to pull than a second Firefly ( LC 75% to get vs 50% for 5 star banner )

That last comment is well said! Some people are too focused on powercreeping, and while I won't deny there's some of it, a lot of the limited units still perform really well for the kit they are given. Caring too much about future proofing will hardly make the game fun for anyone. Try to find that good balance on what you need in your teams, but also enjoy the characters for their story. I pulled for Firefly mainly because I love her, and her bringing a new playstyle that is Break Effect (I enjoy playing DOT so Break Effect is an addition to that) is just the cherry on top. Thanks for the video Guoba! Informative as always.

Been having a blast with her so far! The only minor issue I've noticed is since she doesn't work as well with the 5 star defensive supports like HuoHuo or Fu Xuan, she is a little more vulnerable to disruption by enemy cc and will have to wait until Gallagher can cleanse her instead of being able to either resist the cc or cleanse on the start of her turn with Huo Huo talent. Very situational tbh, but can happen when the enemy finally gets to act again after you killed their 1st health bar and they specifically target Firefly, lol.

E2S1 Acheron MoC doing 800k dmg ULT. Firefly E2S1 bumped that screenshot to 940k. All within their respected teams (aka. sustains).

I love the new divergent universe mode. I was able to use my underbuilt firefly team to clear difficulty 4 yesterday. Asta using dance dance dance and HMC with the lightcone that buffs their energy gain and Break effect a bit. Gallagher for heals. I feel like asta's speed buff + DDD really helps compensate for my firefly not quite hitting the 150 breakpoint. There were a lot of times where asta would ult and then drag firefly back ahead of her combustion end's turn.

17:56 well technically it does convert its just that sometimes it wont immediately convert int he stats but as soon as Firefly attacks the conversion will be there! So the Attack does stay.

12:18 would the Kalpagni Lantern set with a 2.9k HP 2.4k Def HMC be better than the penacony rope set with 3.6k health? I’m just afraid they’ll die way easier because I haven’t been able to get a HP % orb yet

I'll definitely be cross referencing this guide a lot in the coming days. I do have a question though. In absence of What Is Real on Gallagher, is his recommended BE breakpoint any more lenient than what was suggested in your Gallagher guide? My substat rolls were okay, and even then I only barely hit the breakpoint WITH his LC, so I'm dreading more Caverns.

Something I appreciate is that too many guides only discuss signature vs the herta cone, aeon in this case without ever discussing the big caveat that we can only have one copy of any herta cone. Sure aeon is the best alternative in a world where firefly is my only destruction unit, but that's not the actual reality for most people's accounts and there's a very real chance that they have a prior character who either doesn't want to give up Aeon, or now needs guides like these to actually mention their 4 star options more after a new character steals aeon from them. Since there can only be one such cone, it just doesn't feel correct to have it be the only alternative or yardstick worth mentioning, since it carries the implicit assumption that you're going to un-build an older character for the new one. As such it can be quite annoying to see calculations done with only the herta cone as a comparison.

E1 vs S1 was a big question for me (since I was thinking either E1S1 or maybe E2 with Aeon). I'll most likely go for E1S0 with Aeon. E1 is less of a damage increase and more about ease of use, which is great because HMC does eat a lot of SP. Even in comp where two units rarely or don't use skill, it can happen that I end up eating too much. Now my little issue is that most of my teams use similar units, and I end up with teams missing a character...

I ended up getting E1S1 when I only really had the pulls to guarantee E0S0. One thing that makes going for the S1 more worthwhile is that MotP is on the banner. I got two copies, which was enough to superimpose one copy to S5. It did feel a bit bad when going for E1 that all the 4*s I was getting already had max eidolons.

Got her coz I have guarantee and maxed her out instantly. I have her with Thief and Talia set while I have fo farm for her BiS relics and she's great and strong along with her core team where she reaches 490% BE. So fun. I'm gonna keep pulling for some Gallagher/Misha cons (fck Xueyi keeps dropping) and may snipe her e1

Think about the question you just asked. FF needs both atk and break effect. Now you use your head and come to the only conclusion one could possibly make.

Right now, after few days of playing around with Firefly, imo her E1 is so much better than her S1 simply because QoL change is so big for simulated universe, its crazy. Being able to act 70 times in a row because of blessing that advances you forward every time you break someone without any concern for skill points feels sooo good

I have dot team and superbreak team, and both needs RM, is there a good alternative for dot and superbreak if one of the other wants RM? My dot team is black swan, kafka RM, luocha my superbreak team is Firefly, HMC, RM gall I'm thinking of getting asta for superbreak if anything but can't seen to find a good alternative for dot team, any suggestions or advice?

If I'm reaching the break effect (360%) and speed (165) breakpoint for Firefly in combat, is there a need to optimize more of her gears? I feel like her gears are all over the place and I'm missing some details on her kit.

to me, the 75% chance is why i prefere sig instead of eidolon. Im not hitting thos 50% but i have yet to fail a 75. At least im lucky somehwere
