All of our active volcanoes , are worth keeping an eye on , along with the dormant ones , of which NZ has plenty - some appear drowned , yet I'm still willing to watch them also as they maybe the most dangerous , not haveing erupted in eons .

Nah Was living in Maungakino when it last erupted - lots of beautiful coloured dawn's & dusks though . Ngarahoe & Tongarioro are two to watch , along with Taupo , despite it's water cover it's still active . Taranaki , would be one to see erupt

Study the history since 1890 to 1960.very intresting period of time .1945 eruption was one it largest since records were being collected of ruapehu activity.it clear from the history of this volcano that it is a very ative volcano .it been at least two decades without any major eruptiver events from this volcano.i advise extreme caution around ruapehu as I believe it long overdue a eruption.
