I got mulch which was treated and coloured. But it is a nightmare childrens shoes and clothes are destroyed. They look like they have been down a coal mine. The company will do nothing!

@Awesomest Greatest Mostest Funniest Craziest The dude was definitely making WAYYY over $200 an hour with help and shit, we'll his company is at least, but his company could see a liability claim for that. I own a Landscaping lawn care business myself so I know dude was making big bucks

Crying over mulch though. Ugh. Parents come on, give the director some slack. Use vinegar in the laundry! It works wonders.

That's a chemical do you know what it does to humans let alone kids that are still growing? What kind of defects will it cause these kids in the future do you know? Everything I seem to get in mail comes with a warning "this product has stuff known to cause cancer" Why does everything we made cause cancer?
@cleopatrasgroove93192 ай бұрын
These are children and some may be allergic to various chemicals. These people need to fix the issue!!
@patrickmcmahon11102 ай бұрын
@Bewefau vinegar is mainly water and acetic acid which is produced naturally via fermentation or artificially. But it's very simple and we've been using it since around 5000bce, it's not bad. This may have been a facetious comment but I couldn't tell.

I remember playing on rubber mulch never thought about the difference between natural mulch and rubber mulch, now that I think about it my hands/toys were stained 😯
@AwesomestGreatestMostestFunny2 жыл бұрын
There are OUTSTANDING rubber mulches out there that DO NOT stain, the was cheap landscaping mulch, not playground mulch.
@Liefpj Жыл бұрын
Looks like Coal. I woulda used a light color. I'm guessing the packed down professional rubber woulda been too expensive judging on the type of playground equipment/toys they have.

Easy fix...vacuum the material and wash - then seal it...simple enough the "con-tractor" should have processed the material BEFORE INSTALLATION!

Contractors dont process materials... They install. It's up to the manufacturer to 'process' the material they are selling. When you do things on a budget, this is what happens.

Parents should have all chipped in for creating the problem. Kids clothes got a little dirty from a natural wood chips/fiber with or without coloring. A complained enough another route was tried an it backfired. What did they not want to do wash their kids clothes or something good lord. An if it was bad. It’s not like every other kid wouldn’t have the same type of uniform marks so your kid wasn’t like the odd one out. A their not there for a job interview or something good lord. Them people are quite pathetic

that contractor has INSURANCE right? $10,000? I hope you found a TOP CONTRACTOR if not, this is a lesson for you, don't cheap out when kids are a stake!!
@thedornanfam-blogsplusmore8510 Жыл бұрын
They required by law to have liability insurance yes
@4.0gpa443 ай бұрын
I don't see liability insurance paying for a contract dispute. That would be covered by a contractor's bond, which is relatively rare to have contractors have that coverage. Her other alternative is to sue the contractor if the contract wasn't actually met, or to sue the mulch company if it wasn't as advertised or didn't warn about causing stains. If the contract didn't specify non-staining mulch or the equivalent mulch conforming to that standard, she has no expectation of recovery.
