Hi there! I’m a delegate I’m WA, US and the question of “can you lube your cube during inspection?” came up at a recent competition of ours and we determined that the answer is no, it violates A5b “While inspecting or solving the puzzle, the competitor must not receive assistance from anyone or any object other than the surface (also see Regulation 2i). Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF).”

Can i change my cube mid match just incase my cube pops like a big cube 5x5 6x6 etc. or do i need to fix the pop before putting it back to the cube cover

you are not allowed to lube a cube in inspection. You may not receive any outside help- I asked multiple delegates and this is what they told me.
