I used to go to Carl’s Jr. California fairly often. Probably more often than I should. Recently I went there and they had raised the prices on their meals (burger, fries, and drink) to near $15 or more. I bought meals for my girlfriend and myself which came out to over $30 with tax. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back nearly as often as I was. I used to go weekly and sometimes more than that. Maybe it’s for the better as it’s cheaper to eat healthy at home.

Well my local street taco place is doing great. Rubio’s is just pruning underperforming locations. Hey, workers need a decent wage and will spend all they earn on day to day expenses.

I hadn't gone to.a rubio's in a while. About 10-12 years ago, it started getting greasy and gross. I recently tried it again and the salsas tasted canned and weren't in the right spots versus their name plates in the salsa bar, the chips were stale, the limes and onion/cilantro in the salsa bar looked dry, old, and sad, fish was meh, and my meal was near $20. I miss old school Rubio's from when they first started expanding but the new owners have been too focused on cost cutting instead of value improving.
