I greatly respect & admire both of these guys as dancers. I see Junior's got mostly ladies in his amen corner. Can't blame them because he's definitely mesmerizing & quite handsome. However, as much as I like him, he needs more variety, which Rubix has. Rubix is steadily evolving into the whole package with great improvements in musicality. I love the way he uses his entire body fearlessly, as well as the entire floor space. Junior's last round was quite entertaining, though. Love what he did at the end @ 9:25. Both are good tbh. But I think Rubix added more flavor to it he's really feeling and embodying the music. His stage presence is improving and more intimidating than before.

Junior made me really hyped the whole 3rd round! Rubix was more versatile, though. He also performed more difficult moves and occupied more space.

When you first watch this battle you will think that Junior took all 3 rounds , but when you repeat the video more tan 3 times you start understanding why Rubix won. thank you for making this battle happen and i like jimmy commentary at the end

For me, Rubix most definetly took the third round. The first two rounds he also had crazy moves, but in my opinion juniour took these two. He was more tight and firery in the beat. The was more fusion and feeling in and with the beat. Thats how i feel. So overall a very very close win for junior. In my opinion its super important to create a feeling , magic moments, somethibg you can relate to; or not but somethibg you can feel an that touches you. Thats what art is about, thats what music, feeling, wonders and the end of the day life us all about. The feeling, the magicness. You can be technically wise average but if you stay authentic, in the moment, true to yourself then forget the technic and let it flow and magic is happening, thats way we dance sing laugh and do stuff. Not for the technic. Technic is impressiv and also part of the whole story, but its something that comes with the journey.. .. the journey of a child that wants to have fun and experience magic and wonders …

If you are judging round by round, junior won this with rounds 1 and 2. But if we are combining all 3 rounds I would pick Rubix. Junior killed every beat. But when you hit every primary beat on 3 songs in a row your rounds don't offer any difference. I don't speak french so Im not sure why Jimmy picked Rubix, but as a whole, Rubix showed more ability to manipulate the music and create moments. Great stuff from both THANK YOU for this battle!!

I saw a junior W but I trust Jimmy’s judgement. Will have to watch this one back a few times. Edit: Yeah it was v close but Rubix was a lot more risky/experimental in his rounds. I believe he got the recognition he deserved for that with the win.

Junior won this one if i am honest

I think Junior had better rounds 2 and 3 than Rubix so in that sense he should have won but he did go second and he did use quite a few combos, maybe that affected the judging I feel like Rubix did a better job of trying to capture the essence of the songs maybe that was it. I look forward to reading the translations for what Jimmy said at the end!

Tough but I have to go with Rubix. Junior is almost there, needs to have more fun with it. That does not take anything from him, he goes hard on the floor.
