With method acting, you got to know when to turn it off especially when you "become" the character you are playing. Sadly with Kana, the role of Nino is consuming her to the point where the role is consuming her personality and it's bleeding again into her personal life. Where Frill is telling Ruby and the others how she keeps her acting life on set separate from her personal life. Saw a very good comment that may show up later in the story. That Hikaru and Ai probably were doing an acting role as a couple and the usual on set romance happened. The thing by the time Ai came to her senses, she was already pregnant. it will also be interesting in 2 weeks when the next chapter comes up and we see Ruby completely turn into Ai and Ruby not being able to turn off the character.

I think labeling what Kana is doing as "sacrifice" is a bit of an exaggeration. It might have been true in the previous chapter, but in this one we can see that Kana is also behaving this way with Ruby because she can finally get out and express all the envy she's been holding in (something totally understandable). I get that superfans want their character to always be right and only do good things and be perfect. But this is Oshi no Ko. Literally no character is perfect. Kana is doing something that is hurting Ruby deeply, but she's doing it to help her. Sound familiar? Because it's the same thing that happened with Akane. Akane's haters have always used the argument that Akane was doing more harm than good to Aqua by helping him with his revenge. They would say things like “the end doesn't justify the means”, “a good intention is lost if it only causes harm” and other things like that. Akane's intention was to stop Aqua from suffering. He told her that he needed to get revenge on the person responsible for his mother's death. At the time, giving Aqua her support was what Akane thought was the right thing to do. But here's the important thing. Once Akane realizes that revenge is now what is hurting Aqua, she decides to become his rival to stop him. Now we go to Kana. Kana's intention is to help Ruby understand Ai better, because she sees how Ruby hasn't stopped suffering from not being able to act her mother's role since the movie started. For that reason, Kana decides to treat Ruby as Nino treated Ai. Despite having good intentions inside her heart, Kana is directly hurting Ruby and making her doubt about their whole friendship. One of the things that all of Oshi no Ko's characters have in common is that they all do what they think is right, only to later realize that they are wrong and change their course. We have already seen several examples: Ruby, Akane, Ichigo. And, although this may not yet apply to Aqua, it is one of the strongest examples. Aqua firmly believes that taking revenge on his father in the name of Ai is the right thing to do. Even though ALL of us know that Ai would never want his son to throw his life away to accomplish that mission. The question now is: when will Kana realize that her way of helping Ruby stop suffering is ALSO causing her suffering? And how will this help Kana grow as a character, as it happened to the others?

I honestly feel so bad for Ruby, she has been through a lot 😭😭😭😭😭

While the chapter focuses on Ruby, my concern is Aqua. If all the actors are getting into their roles and the mindsets of their characters, then Aqua getting into the mindset and feelings of Hikaru is scary. He's already got a dark side and a manipulative streak, but how far would he be willing to go if he's thinking about things like Hikaru? Hikaru is clearly obsessed with Ai and willing to do anything to preserve her legacy. Aqua is also obsessed with Ai and willing to do anything to avenge her. I'm really concerned that while Ruby is going to become more like Ai to ultimately surpass her, Aqua might end up becoming more like Hikaru, and in the process maybe even be willing to put Ruby's life at risk to lure Hikaru out. I want to see Hikaru defeated and Ruby achieving Ai's dream, but I wouldn't be shocked if it takes a darker path, and they beat Hikaru, but Ruby either dies, or gets a bad injury that prevents her from being an idol anymore, just as she's peaked and is finally able to surpass Ai. That'd definitely be dark, but would drive home the message about how revenge almost never turns out well.

Kana finally realising what holds her back that she always holds back her emotions for the sake of others and end up hurting herself more and more but now that she has told those feelings to Ruby with its regards acting as nino this might be a good thing for kana for come to terms with and Ruby understanding AI deeper than akane and aqua might know about AI which hasn't been shown. We will see what unfolds next chapter. This week breaks always kills me

If you guys remember in chapter 6 Kana has the actor award (I think) roses’s similar Akane actor reward so this probably where her acting skills really goes off and how she really into the character of Nino

I really don’t understand why people are praising Kana for being a “friend” and sacrificing her “friendship” with ruby by giving in to her jealousy and envy Im not an actor so I can’t really say but I think breaking someone mentally and emotionally is not the way to go It gives me that tortured artist vibes which is not healthy

I honestly think Mem-cho knows the truth That Kana didn't mean everything she said to Ruby but told her that in order for her to connect to her mom more to get her to understand how she felt and yes I do think Ai cried too but was good at hiding it but I honestly hope that they do makeup because deep down I do think they're great friends and hopefully Aqua, Akane and Mem-Cho can help them makeup.🥲 Thank you for reviewing chapter 134 of Oshi No Ko, Zephyr and please keep up the great work as always.😊👍

I have the feeling this series of chapters is gonna be huge for the final arc of the story. Whether Ruby can truly interpret Ai's emotions is the lynchpin to this whole operation. I'm really hoping Akane gets some time to explain her thought processes behind Ai's psyche. Thanks for the vid!

Poor Ruby

I feel like now that Ruby is learning more and more about what Ai went through when she was younger, I really feel like Ruby will also start to understand what Ai felt when she was with Hikaru. How Ai of all people could fall in love with a 15 year old middle school student. On the subject of understanding what people felt. We know that Aqua understands that Hikaru plays an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT PART in AI’s life, him being the one that got Ai pregnant and killed and all. So even though the Movie is Mainly about Ai and Ai only, it would make a lot of sense to also understand what the other people around Ai felt when she was around, HIKARU ESPECIALLY!!!

So sad for the last chapter and this chapter. Remember in chapter 106 Ruby had to grit her teeth and endure the information about Ai being leaked in order to clear the scandal for Kana. Ruby would probably think that she had sacrificed so much and yet her closest sister was jealous. She didn't know how sad Ruby would be. Even though Kana did it to be good for Ruby, it was really cruel for Ruby.....

Kana is really making me hate her this arc I get her idea but please do not involve my girl Ruby in your mess please if she make my Ruby cry anymore she might officially become my most hated character of Oshi no ko

Kana used her acting ability to be a hater of ruby, she wanted ruby to get "awakened" and be more powerful in her acts. Ruby will know her mom's (aka idol) feelings after getting left by friends and family.

I feel bad only for ruby

I believe that in this chapter we learned much more about Ai than simply the fact that she suffered and cried when her groupmates walked away from her. I'm referring to when Fril was explaining how two actors who play lovers can momentarily get carried away by their roles and think that they are actually in love and as soon as the work is over they both wake up to reality and realize that they don't feel anything for each other. This description caught my attention and made me wonder if that wasn't exactly what happened in the relationship between Ai and Hikaru. In other words, we had two important revelations about Ai in just a single chapter. One of the revelations was somehow "hidden" between the pages.

I think that Kana has some jealousy for Ruby but not to this extent here I think when talking to Mem cho her role had a big influence on her(as she said she's becoming more and more like Nino) which caused her to exaggerate her feelings I think both Frill and Ruby are right her feelings of envy are real but her role as Nino doesn't help at all overall I think it was a good chapter I want to see Aqua playing Hikaru tho

I have a confession to make. I actually do not like kana I just hate tsundere I have never been a fan of those type of characters. In fact, they are the most most hated characters for me so when Khanna was suffering throughout the series before I was actually happy, I was enjoying every second of it deep down. Okay, this has barely anything to do with this video, but there’s something that has been annoying me for a really long time. If Aqua and Akane teamed up, Hikaru would’ve been dead forty chapters ago! (Plus, they would be cool… but seriously though) But unfortunately Aqua has this need to save everyone and everything… I don’t blame him though 😅
