I’ve learned so many new words and terms to add to my Huret and sewing vocabulary. Don’t know which one is my favorite as all of them are dazzling. I’d love to see more of this trousseau. Thank you Sheryl and Michael!

This is such a fascinating video. .. i am sure everyone who watches it is mesmerized by the wonderful way you present the beautiful costumes and facinating, delightful accessoriesl. I loved the pom pom cape and you both did such a great job giving the camera person time to focus in on the intricate details of the process necessary to create this fascinating accessory. I wish more time had been devoted to the lace hat so we could have seen the details on the process of how it was assembled. The person who was filming did a great job everytime a close up of the dress or accessory was talked about! A suggestion woukd be to do more close ups of these accessories. maybe put your glasses in your pocket or on top of your head to keep them out of the film because the focus should be on the item being discussed. They really got in the way visually as you pointed out details in these intricate pieces, esp when you discussed the black veil. ..the veil was black , the glasses were black. This distracted from the ability to see how this intricate accessory was pieced together. How Very Amazing to see that a very simple pattern can be changed in so many different ways and it took you pointing out that these were variations of basically the same pattern. I enjoyed the facts about the early sewing machines and the differences in the stiching. I sew most of my my doll costumes using old singer sewing machines! They do the best straight stiches! I have quite a few.... I have even taken then to weekend shows and done sine last minute sewing in my hotel room. Thanks again for taking the time to share your knowledge with us! I watched your video on making a display and i loved how you told a story with dolls and accessories... the importance of background and even the flooring! The background for this display sets the scene and is a delightful backdrop for these beautiful costumes and accessories! My words can't begin to describe my appreciation for your volunteering your time and knowledge with me and my fellow doll lovers! Thanks, thanks, and a million thanks and may God bless and keep you .... so you can keep sharing your knowledge with us for a very long, long time!

The pixels on my laptop just don't do the pom pom shawl justice, or possibly it is my eyes, but could that be a form of Teneriffe lace work?
