First of all, i like many low budget movies, shottas is one of my favourite movies. Just because it isn't made by a major motion picture company doesn't mean it has to have insanely bad acting, horrible camera work and ridiculous writing. This movie is terrible no matter how you look at it. If you think its good then no one should trust your opinion on movies. ever.

terrible in just about every way

First of all, i have watched pretty much every "major" film produced in jamaica. From harder They come, "Clash", third world cop, RUDEBOY. etc. The fact that you find the need to defend the merit of the film shows that not only haven't YOU seen many Jamaican films, you haven't seen many films period. The best Jamaican movie ever made is "The harder they come". Rudeboy is garbage.
