It's amazing how patient he is in every interview. Only once did I hear him say to an interviewer who said something so stupid like, "How did you start dancing?" "...I don't remember..." !!! He went over the answers with most interviewers again and again. I'm interested to learn in this one that he took a nap in the afternoon before an evening performance.

Nureyev. What an impressive individual....one must read of his life history....... remarkable....really tragic what happened to him ......even with all his accomplishments and triumphs .and endless contributions....let alone his material wealth. ....I think he was personally and privately unfulfilled..my own opinion is that he truly would of loved his own successor in the world of dance/ballet ....a fascinating life...a true Legend. And perfect example of a rag to riches life story.

Nice interview, good to see Rudolf Nureyev being so modest and own to earth!!! This footage is not that old, why is it so cloudy and awful looking? Could some effort (have it restored by some professional or something..., honestly, it would do justice to it!) be made to clean and restore it? Nureyev deserves much better than that!! He belongs to our Cultural Heritage! PLEASE!!!!!
