Shri Rudranath is an ancient Shiva Temple form Panch Kedar Group. Situated in Garhwal Himalayas it is a paradise for Lord Shiva and Nature lovers.
Its a small well defined trek with very basic facilities of food and stay.
It is most difficult among Panch Kedar, but the views are breathtaking. If you are a true Nature and Shiva Lover, its for you. If you are a Nainital Tourist, looking for cold drink and TV, don't spoil this place. (Sorry I'm slightly rude)
According to old Hindu Scripts, Parvati (Lord Shiva's wife) is nature. If you don't respect nature (Prakriti), Shiv Shankar will open his third eye. As witnessed the same "Rudra Roop" in 2013 flood in this region. Jai Bhole Nath.

जय रुद्रनाथ , journey of Rudranth ji is the most memorable episode of my life , we have done it in June 2016 , that time grennary was at its best , we have covered entire journey in a single lap...next day returned via Anushuya mata temple,.......thanks for making this video.

We went there in 1993, and now it looks like so easy to go, but that time it was real tough to reach Panhar in 5 hours, Panhar had a cave where a monk stay inside the cave, no hotel or chati was there, you need to cook yourself to eat and so ha to carry rice, daal, ghee and utencils with you. Now Panhar looks like a well maintained tourist spot. I miss that old essence of real treking here.

This too is very good but it ended abruptly wanted to know more about the pujari. Saraswati kund is so beautiful specially the grasses on the sides of the kind. You people are lucky must venture out more often so that we too can enjoy who are unable to go. God bless you.🙏
