Coming out is like breathing and being truly alive. It took me 12 years to finally have the courage to come out, I thought my mom and siblings would treat me differently, to my surprise they really took it with kind understanding and respect. I am now I feel so at peace and content 🥰🏳️‍🌈

I understand why Ruffa walked out because she respect her brother Mond privacy, and it’s not her story to tell or to reveal one’s sexuality. Dra Belo asked why it took Mond a while to come out because there’s time for everything. Even if people around you knew or felt you need to, it’s still his decision and timeline. It’s easier said and done but the reactions of people aren’t the same. Mond is brilliant and beautiful human being, you can feel his sincerity and humility, Ms Annabelle Rama was right about him being his intelligent son. Love love love Mond...

I remembered that publicity with Karla Humpries that backfired. I’m glad he came out finally after that and freed himself. This guy has so much talent to offer that his gender should not affect that.

Admitting you’re gay is not that easy, Dr. Belo. There’s a stigma attached to it. Can’t just say why did you just not admit it. Everyone has their own timeframe when they want to come out. When you’re ready, you’re ready. When it feels right, you’ll know it.

Me and my brothers came out in my teens and after that life has changed for us positively. I became a physician with full support from my family. Currently I live in San Francisco and still open to my patients and celebrating The Pride month every year. If people dislike me then they don’t have a place in my life!!!!

I can absolutely relate to Mond because I also didn't come out until I got here in the US in my early 30s. I would also avoid, at all costs, topics about sexuality or gf/bf. No wonder I never hang out with peers in Pinas for that matter. They would force you to come out, which I felt very unsettling. I felt like I was in doom and shrouded in thick, dark blanket, or like a cocoon that never bloomed. Hence, I focused on my studies, got my degree in healthcare and worked my way hard to be able to get here to the US. Here, I felt free and so I was able to slowly set myself free. I met my husband and we're now married for 9 years, and live with my dad, who was initially, homophobic, lol. My husband is Mexican, and he was even worse than me. He is hella straight-acting, and not anyone from his family or friends knew he was gay because of their culture. He was very thankful for me too for helping him come out, and now we're both happy together ❤️. So, don't be afraid to come out for you will never know all the opportunities that may come after.

Coming out is really hard. There will be people who will distance their selves from you. Some of tgem will discriminate and judge you without even knowing you. People of this world makes it hard for the lgbt people to come out. Let us spread love and respect. Let us not tolerate but rather accept. And for those people who are parr of the lgbt do not be afraid of being different be afraid of being the same as everyone else. Happy pride month
