@@Mhtsos_Bardas It's Rufus who introduces Bobby to the world of the supernatural, and they hunted together for many years until a hunt goes wrong in Omaha, and a woman important to Rufus (possibly his daughter) dies. They become estranged after the incident.

Rufus, Balthazar, Gabriel, Andy Gallagher, Azazel, why does every character, who doesn't act like a whiny b**ch and is funny, die? I mean, angst can be interesting, but Supernatural is sometimes really an angst overload.

This is the kind of thing i miss in the show, the humor and the music lulling you into a false sense of safety, then your expectations get ripped from under your feet as a knife is plunged into Rufus' heart.

okay so is this episode the first time that Rufus works with Sam and Dean on a hunters case. i do "vaguely" him working with Sam and Dean on a "case" in that town with war one of the four horseman in supernatural season five episode two 5x2 "good god y'all" but i don't remember him ever working a job with the boys in previous season's before then.!!!!
