1:16 What makes it even more impressive is that one of "those guys" that he made miss was Ray Lewis, one of the best linebackers of all time and was inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. 7:21 This is arguably the best run in NFL history, not only with all the broken tackles and the vicious stiff arm, but it was to seal a playoff game win in the last few minutes. They were up by a few points trying to run down the clock so everyone knew he was going to get the ball, but they still couldn't stop him. This play is called the "Beastquake" because the crowd supposedly registered a very tiny earthquake on local seismic charts.

@@kiwikicker9263 The crowd hit 130+ decibels during the run and afterward, making it one of the loudest in NFL history. For notes sake, that's about as loud as a chainsaw at point blank range and just below the level of being on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier during jet takeoff and bordering on ear drum rupture at 150. Only two games are louder, one was another Seattle game and the other was the Kansas City Chiefs, the current record holder when Arrowhead Stadium hit a whopping 142 decibels.

So that play that starts at 7:21, a 12 year old me was at that game. My dad had to hold me up above the crowd so I could actually see. One of the best Lynch plays of all time. Huge Seahawks fan here, bit i see you still replying to comments so thought i might throw a couple things in here. Marshawn Lynch has been fined on 3 separate occasions for not talking to the media, totaling $175,000 (it's in their contracts to do those post game interviews). And really any interviews you watch of him he says very little and usually leaves very awkwardly and just wants to gtfo. He also has a very well known, huge love for skittles. Sometimes when the camera is on him on the sidelines he is just eating some skittles. This is because after his football games when he was a kid his mom would always buy him skittles. He has a skittles endorsement now, and his face on a skittles pack. There are also numerous videos on youtube, of after Marshawn scored a touchdown the fans rain skittles all over the Seahawks offense.

I’m a 12 (Seahawks fan) and I will always love Marshawn because he is a major reason we got to and won Super Bowl 48. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills and played 2 1/2 years for them until we got him. The run you see against the Saints, defending Super Bowl champs at the time, at 7:41 is know as the “Beastquake” run. The fan reaction was so loud, jumping up and down, we found out later that there was actual seismic activity registered. He retired from us at the end of the 2015 season but came out of retirement in for the 2017 to play for his hometown team, Oakland Raiders, before they made the move to Las Vegas. Couldn’t blame him. He’s always been very proud to be from Oakland and this was his last chance.

Yeah to bad the new back dont even compare to the RBs of old! Try Earl Campbell, Hershel Walker, Eric Dickerson, Gale Sayers, Rickey Waters, Eric Metcalf, Napoleon Kaufman, Tyrone Wheatly.. So many to name back in the day, now its just 2-3 backs which is kind of sad, enjoy bro

That dude is definitely a jack of all trades. Escape artist, hands made out of glue on passes, can run through a gap the size of an eye of a needle, and has jet engines strapped to his back in the open field.

The Kiwi Has Landed Blair Walsh is a prominent example. Missed a game winning Field Goal from only 27 Yards and then was immediately cut. Seattle resigned him, but he could never recover from the shock. Walsh was cut this off season again. His career likely is over.

Blair Walsh? Think about Scott Norwood and the infamous "Wide Right" missed potentially game winning Super Bowl field goal.

As a rugby guy you’ll probably appreciate the war of attrition that was the 1980 UGA @ South Carolina college game! Two great big bruising power backs! George Rogers the senior 1980 Heisman winner for SC and Herschel Walker as a freshman for UGA! Great game!

I dont know much about rugby, but from what I've seen of both it and the glory of Mr Lynch, I think he's one of the few players whose style would translate perfectly to the other sport. Power, speed, and awareness in equal measure. A lot of those highlights required great plays from his guys, and what made him different was he would SEE when they made those plays and take advantage everytime.
