I remember Guy Laporte putting over a monster drop from halfway back in the early 80s - took some doing with those heavy old leather balls. Of this selection, Zinzan Brooke's effort has to take the biscuit though, not what you'd expect from your average forward!

Anyone else agree with me that they should award 4 points for a drop goal? It is spectacular to watch. It is hugely skillful. It would encourage more players to attempt it thereby adding to the excitement and entertainment in a match.

2 drop goal would de better than a try and a conversion so it would change the game completely and become a kick game

No... Im not even sure if they should even be 3 points... Because if a kicker is good enough the opposition could be even almost perfect and not missing a takle or giving away penalties and yet you would find yoursrlef still ahead... Like a dropgoal its very difficult to pull off... But the defence can do very little about it

Drop goals are way to somewhat easy to get from the 10m line as a normal person, let alone being a pro athlete it would be way to easy.
