Awesome vid as always! Hey GG i think it was your channel that had top 12 super rugby tries like 5 years ago, i loved that vid and wondered if you had it anywhere still. Had the cheslin kick that was recovered and thrown off the ground backwards

@@GGRUGBY i think it was the chiefs. Video also included clip from same game i believe where damien mckenzie, dixon, and lowe run it from their try line to score. 2017 i believe was the year. Your vid was awesome and the music synced up great. Loved watching it and showed a lot of youth here in the US and it got them into rugby!

No, it is perfectly legal. Law 20 point 9 under the section "Taking a penalty or a free-kick" states "The kicker may kick the ball in any direction." The ball is only dead if it crosses beyond the dead-ball line, on a score, or if it goes into touch.

Had it touched his hand, the resulting travel of the ball moving forward and hitting the ground would have resulted in a knock on call, and an attacking scrum to the other team
