Ryan, a couple of comments: The fore-end of the Boyds stock will NOT break if you drop it; pieces will not fly off. It's made from 37 layers of hardwood laminate fused together with pressure-bonded adhesive under heat and pressure. The inlet is not "roughed up" as you claim -- this may be simply a poor choice of words on your part. Rather, the inlet is not finished perfectly smooth like the outside of the stock because it doesn't need to be sanded perfectly smooth. The inlet does, however, receive the same amount of hard finish applied to the inlet as the rest of the stock; this is to ensure that every part of the gunstock is totally sealed from any moisture intrusion, thereby making it impervious to water and moisture to ensure the most stable gunstock on the planet. Boyds' stocks do not require bedding to be accurate. However, bedding a barreled action is often a good idea because it can increase accuracy for those who are competitive shooters. Fitment issues do happen at times, but that's only because Boyds manufactures their stocks to such a high tolerance so that the stocks fit the barreled actions perfectly. Sometimes a little piece of sandpaper may need to be used to remove a little bit of finish material in order to provide the ultimate fit; but this is certainly not the norm.

I have a Howa 1500 chambered in .270win. I converted it from a trap door feed to a magazine feed. At the same time I changed from the synthetic stock to a Boyd’s stock. I had a similar issue to what you described here with the magazine fitment. Mine actually sat to deep in the stock and the bolt would actually catch the magazine instead of the round. Took me a little bit to figure out what was going on, but then I just used 2 small O-rings between the trigger guard and stock (on the rear bolt) which lowered the back of the magazine just enough to clear the bolt. I think it cost me .12 for the 2 O-rings from the hardware store.

Yep, you got that right. Generally a "review" entails a close look at all the features and benefits of the product. The main idea behind the At-One is its adjustability and modularity, with the idea that this gun can then easily be quickly adjusted to fit anybody.

Just found your channel, I just subscribed. Great video explaining things. I am not bench shooter, but I want a accurate and precise rifle, hoping to achieve (0.25 to .75 MOA). I am on a strict budget because of a family situation and as a result I plan harvest White Tail, Mule Deer and maybe Elk as a source of food protein in future. I was looking at a Ruger Predator similar to this 6.5 creedmore however I found a Tikka T3x Hunter .308 Win on sale as a store unfired demo "scratched" special. Both Ruger and Tikka are great budget shooters, my friend recommended the Tikka over the Ruger because it was nearly same price only with a wooded stock because shop discount (long 3.25 inch scratch on rear section of wooden stock) and he has same rifle in 7mm Rem Mag. (.79, 4 shot groups Barnes Vorex 150 grain) from his paper targets using that 7mm rifle). He said .308 Winchester ammunition was still very accessible to acquire and relatively inexpensive also. I purchased a Bushnell 4500 Elite 2.5-10x40mm last year on special before Christmas as I knew I was preparing to acquire a family rifle late this year. With my eyes I found it to be a very clear glass for the money. The only improvements I think I would do to the rifle very soon would be to replace the composite trigger guard assembly with a metal unit. Have you replaced these in the past? What would recommend? Do you know any quality aftermarket ones. I do not like composite/plastic trigger guards and in future (several years from now) maybe glass bed my existing factory wood stock then sand and refinish my factory wood stock to remove the scratch an add a limbsaver recoil pad to replace the existing factory recoil pad similar to what my friend did with his 7mm rifle . Any thoughts about this or comments would be appreciated?

Come on I am tired of talk about the Creemore 6.5 it will not outshoot the .270 if you think so slow the .270 down to 2500 fps. And the .270 will shot the same bullet it 3200 fps. A 130gr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am 64-year-old now then from around age 16 I hung around a local gun shop that built some pretty accurate and unusual rifles and over the years now for 20 years I have been building rifles myself with specializing in the AR 10 uppers for sale in all of the WSM magnums and not thought of cartridges for the AR 10 . So, bitching a bolt isn't smooth going in and out of the action shows the total ignorance of someone's experiences with rifles because one of my favorite rifles to buy then tear it down just for the action is Mauser 98 actions found in Pawn shops. If a rifles bolt in the action doesn't seem smooth it has zero effects on the accuracy of how the rifle shoot and if it did then why do the Mauser 98 actions I used once finished into rifles are capable of extreme accuracy factory rifles are unable to achieve. Another misleading video by a woke gay millennial who would better off talking about the benefits of being Transgender now all young males are into being queer!
