Light double-action and crisp single-action trigger pulls. External hammer is designed with a rounded spur for easy cocking and single-action shooting.
Polymer frame and two interchangeable rubberized grips with angled serrations allow shooters to select either a slim or wider palm swell option (no tools required).

I did not say this in the video, but here it is: You need to know the laws in your state or country to make this update. If you are limited on the amount of rounds in a magazine, you need to stick with that. Do not try this if its illegal in your state or region.

Bearing in mind that this item is available in other countries as well (sometimes through resellers that don’t give a damn), yes: Always make sure you stay within the boundaries of the local gun code. Getting your house searched by law enforcement because the customs picked your parcel for a random spot check and suspected other arms-related misdemeanour, that’s the opposite of fun!

Hi, it's called a follower in the magazine. You basically have your mag body your base plate. Spring and follower. Hope that helps you out. Cool video, thanks for introducing this product. 😎👍

I just came back from shooting the Ruger SR22 for the first time, and it is a gun that I will pickup shortly, no re-coil issues and my shots are right on… the slide does stay back after the last shot… really smooth shooting gun…why shoot 9mm, 380 cal and 45 call for target practice , when 22 LR are just as good for point placement drills…

It's great gun. The slide does stay back on the factory setup magazines. It's only an issue if the magazines are modified like in the video.

The slide will lock back if you also install the Taylor Tactical follower. The Taylor Tactical follower, in conjunction with the Tandemkross base pads, will also increase the capacity to 16+1. I have this setup and run Federal Punch 22lr in the modified mags flawlessly.

To answer your question. The reason to practice with 9, 380, 40, 45 or any other round is to become better with your carry gun. I would recommend practice practice practice with your every day carry and with the same rounds you will be carrying. Knowing you are good with exactly what you have is important. 🤠

Just installed the Wingman. Really like it. I can get 13 in easily... So even 13 + 1 is a nice change.

Are the last two just too hard to push down or does it feel like its getting stuck? I read somewhere on the Wingmans that you may have to grind down the tabs a little if the follower does not go down all the way.

Interesting stuff thanks! Just found out I there's an extended mag for my Ruger 380 and now this. Normally wouldn't carry a 22 but with 15 rounds I may in the summer months.

You could redesign that follower and put a longer spring in to get another five rounds in there.

This was years back, but after shooting many different .22 rimfire pistols I found I liked this one the best. There are a few new .22 pistols on the market now but I still like this one.

They make 16 round extenders now that hold the slide back I got them and they do work but you have to take the magazine out to release the slide

Is that when you add the "Nic Taylor follower and increased power magazine spring" to the wingman? That one uses the follower to hold the slide back which is why you have to drop the mag to let the slide go back.

The part inside the magazine is called a follower and the magazine is a magazine not a clip

If they made one that would hold open on the last shot i would do it but i like the 10 shot mags just for that reason i like to know when my weapon is empty !!!!!! it also makes it faster to reload

Very true. I actually bought more mags and left them stock so I have both options now. My kids love using this to practice with at the land so the 15 still is a nice option.

It's been a while, but I believe you just pushed in the little button/hole at the bottom and slid them off.

The sr22 is a great gun right out of the box I do hope the come out with a trigger replacement soon my tx22 is in Mt range bad all the time I couldn't believe how well it shot for the money after three years with mostly bulk ammo I've only had a hand full of problems all related to the ammo the only thing I changed was the trigger it's adjustable apex with a flat face no real problems with the one that it came with but it had alot of travel in it and it was Lind of shakey back and forth just like the sr22.

I have not had any issues, but I did hear that some people trimmed up some areas on the magazine to make it feed smoother. Are there any areas it catches?

Seems it would be relatively easy to trim the follower to allow more rounds...pretty much what the folks Chip McCormick did to the followers on 1911 magazine s to allow 8 vs the standard 7 rounds...

You can trim it to squeeze in one more round, but if you trim too much they start to jam and its not worth jamming to add one more.

only Taurus tx22 can hold 16+1 and with kit you can add another five or another 9..it's called follower and you lose that on all kits.

Do NOT RUN THESE, they jam the follower at the bottom are unreliable and are hit and miss to if they fit 12 or 15 without the follower going sideways. And on top of EVERYTHING ELSE, they make loading the mag extremely painful and annoying since you cant slide the follower down with the notches to release the tension and the mags themselves are thin and sharp.

Good points, and I agree about the added chance of jamming. But, that said I have not had any issues with it. Fitting the extra rounds in it makes it that much more enjoyable to shoot.

Thank you so... Soo much for saving me. 😅 I was getting close to buying a two pack and now i know its absolutely not worth it if they may cause failures. (I have a weird problem where I want all my systems to work 100%😅) Cant thank you enough and for looking out for us with your comment. I bout 6 of these and all of them SUCKED, everyone jammed after the first shot. When you remove the loading guide button the follower will cock and won’t load your next round. Don’t trust your life on thinking you got 15 rounds, stick with the true 10 that you will have.

Tim Harris, if you're using the Taylor Tactical follower with the Wingman base pad, you may have to file both sides of the follower with sandpaper. I had to do my Taylor Tactical followers like that because they would not slide freely in the magazine.

You can, but you will not get close to 15 without the Wingman addition. I tried that on one magazine and I was able to get 11, but any more seem to jam up with the stock spring and follower design. I just ended up leaving mine at 15 and its never been a problem. I did try the cut down follower with the Wingman installed and I was able to push in 17, but it jams up with the factory spring. I have been able to run 16 in that magazine without issue so far, but I think I am just going to stick with the 15 rounds in each.

@@SeidelRanch I ordered a few different springs to try with a 3d printed follower. I doubt I'm the first to try. I see a few options as you have stated. But it's fun trying!

@@kevinroberts781 Yeah, you can gain one or maybe even two if you cut it down. I used a Dremel tool and chopped one all up, but then it started sticking in the magazine. Let me know how it goes.

@@HITShaw I did not find anything on the Wingmans having that feature. There is another website selling a follower replacement that has the hold back feature, but I have not added that.
