Hello , Dr Mohamed here The maintenance of composite can't be for surely adjusted We as dentist rely on the bonding strength and the surface area to maintain it , but also keep in mind that the composite tensile and compressive strength are not that great and for so it's much better to use high physical properties materials like zirconia or emax veneers and attach them with proper technique like sand blasting and tooth etching this way you can create a restoration that highly aesthetical and can live with you for greater period of time ❤

Don't you suppose to sort out the gaps with bracer or invisalign before doing any cosmetic restoration? Your teeth moves with invisalign so the bonding fells out ....

Why you didn’t re-do your bonding ? I am considering bonding , but in case it falls out , I am not sure if I will have an option to re-do or I will have to go for crowns or veneers 🤔

@@kate.rpillar I should have trusted my gut and left, but I was young and figured the dentist would know best... Well he didnt, that scumbag did what was best for him, not what was best for me. Good bonding will last decades, and it won't interfere with your gums like a crown will. But, if the chip is too big, bonding would not be an option. In my case the chip was not too big, because i had bonding before. The dentist was just a piece of shht. Even the work was horrible. For a crown there should be impressions taken and a lab should make a custom fit crown.

@@kate.rpillar You want to do the least damage as possible. Bonding before veneer, veneer before crown, crown before implant....this should be followed to keep your natural teeth as long as you can. All those people with veneers and crowns are gonna regret it when they get older. Don't let some idiot dentist make a fortune off your vanity at your expense...lol

Its also toxic ,composite resins contain Bpa and acryl derivates that build up in your system over time , i recommend full ceramic or zirconium , the cheapest ones are not always the best ,amalgam silver contains mercury which is also toxic and builds up over time

My dentist charged £150 per tooth and I got 4 of mine done, so £600 in total and couldn’t be happier

@@tortillawrapper5454 it’s 1/3 as strong as enamel, you can’t bite hard things or eat sweets or it will chip and after a while the edges will also stain. They last around 5 years but if you don’t smoke or drink tea and coffee they could last 10
