Huh....y'know, that actually does make some level of sense that Ruin is good at following _blueprints_ but isn't so good at doing things without that guidance. Kinda like trying to assemble a lego set with versus without the instructions. Although it seems like his story for _why_ he didn't make Eclipse has shifted a little. There's a sense in which I somewhat feel bad for Eclipse - the confusion and what is most likely _fear_ is very real, and in a way he's looking for help. But he's also still just...too stubborn and too set on being angry to ever let anyone pull him out of the grave he's dug. But especially for the past few appearances, he sounds like he's constantly on the edge of hysterics. All of that said, there's something that just....feels _off_ about Ruin's presentation. I can't put my finger on it. Feels like is emphasis is in places I'm not expecting him to emphasize. I do legitimately wonder if this time around, this whole...chain of events is going to culminate in some kind of redemption for Eclipse. Maybe not a full turn around, but something redeeming. His whole bravado is breaking down - there's chips and chinks in the mortar, and it may not be long before the dam breaks and something shifts.

Ruin may help Eclipse redeem himself Ruin - can't fix computers or arcade machines on his own Also Ruin - built a body and an anti-magic barrier using blueprints! Something tells me Ruin would be good with Lego ✨!! Also maybe if ruin had blueprints for the arcade machines he'd be able to properly fix them Eclipse needs a redemption. Heck at this point he may not deserve it but god dam does he need it. He's going insane. Yet again, can we give a hand to Davis? He's portraying Eclipse's spiraling breakdown so amazingly, it's enthralling to watch and see just how unhinged Eclipse is becoming. And Ruin's bids at being gentle and -falsely- sympathetic to Eclipse were incredible, as well. I do wonder if this is really the end to Eclipse. Maybe he'll escape somehow, or maybe Moon will decide to keep him alive for information or to torture? Because honestly, with how low Moon has been sinking I wouldn't be surprised if he goes so far as to sink to Eclipse's level. (Speaking of which, even *Eclipse* understands that he kinda did deserve to die for all the crap he did to them, he is intelligent and has enough moral know-how to understand that he was hurting them for cruelty, not any higher purpose than that.) I will be a bit disappointed if he dies with nothing having changed. Because at this point, especially after bringing back Bloodmoon and doing nothing new with them, it feels a bit repetitive.

Ruin genuinely sounded so sad at the implication that he’d ever hurt the others by making Eclipse so he could pretend to be the hero by capturing him. I definitely think he cares about them in some way, even if they don’t care much about him/refuse to trust him 😢 Eclipse practically having a meltdown the entire time about him being about to die, especially at the end, was actually kinda sad.

You know, Cured (hopefully) Ruin is a *really* good example of what Sun and Moon could achieve if they fully worked together, instead of one twin hiding information or coddling the other twin, or instead of one twin underestimating their skills and allowing others to tell them they aren't smart. If Sun and Moon communicated and planned together with this amount of teamwork, they would be a bigger force to contend with! Also, Ruin is an absolute *BEAN* and I love him!

Sometimes Ruin acts strange and then the next he is a literal bean, the virus might be partially controlling him and his actions which would explain some stuff. If Ruin is just normal he would DEFINITELY need therapy. Also if he is truly good I agree with the fact that fixing or building things are easier with blueprints- but didn’t his encrypted blueprints get stolen? Maybe not all of them were…if they weren’t maybe the virus built them with previous knowledge and made Ruin either remember building it or Ruin thought he forgot how he did it. Eclipse also needs therapy- he sounded like he was sobbing at the end, really sad. Ruin could’ve taken the opportunity to give him forced therapy or (if my theory about the virus is true) the virus was taking over and was having that conversation with Eclipse, with Ruin partially peaking out to say stuff. Ok, so that audio log of Ruin saying he learned the Blowtorches are hot made me laugh- what a goofball. Also, Thumbnail art is really stunning! Now I gotta say, that was a pretty smart and skilled move on Ruin's part to trap Eclipse! While Eclipse has made some points that Ruin could have made him, Ruin also did too to how he couldn't have. He has no reason too now that the virus is gone, maybe if it still secretly lingered in him but we haven't seen signs of that yet being the case. The only time he built a animatronic was during the virus and that was the Blood Twins. Someone else has to be behind the scenes that no one knows of yet.. It would be nice to see Eclipse redeem himself, but we know the kind of guy Eclipse is. Whatever fate lies in wait for Sun and Moon to decide for him, we'll find out next time we see him. It's kinda sad seeing Eclipse alone at the end, he's trapped, desperate to know who made him, he just sounds like his mental state is breaking. He honestly sounded like he was crying.. very sad. Ruin told Moon that his encrypted files (and blueprints were stolen) how could he have blueprints to make a barrier? Plus the blueprints were encrypted. He said he couldn't figure them out. Had he been lying? Ruin, you are becoming more and more suspicious.

As much as I liked that Eclipse was an irredeemable villain before he died... I don't like seeing him so scared and confused and honestly afraid. Honestly, outside of kidnapping Ruin and threating torture, this Eclipse hasn't really done anything. He's essentially a reincarnation of the previous Eclipse, just like Bloodmoon is. But unlike Bloodmoon, and not to upset anyone with my observations, Eclipse has more emotional range and intelligence then him. As Ruin said when he was kidnapped, Eclipse is highly traumatized because he remembers dying. And even before that, traumatized because he was left behind and discarded, the unwanted bits of the Old Moon. Now, now he's traumatized because he realizes that he's not what he thought he was. He's not the Eclipse that tormented Sun and Moon, or the one who blew up Lunar, or got the star. He's an animatronic with no history, and memories that aren't really his. He's scared, confused, angry, and most importantly... alone.

so before I get to discussing the episode just want to say I binged watched all the episodes of SAMS , MAFS and EALS I missed ( because I had a very busy January ) so now I'm all caught up ! yup Eclipse has gone mad Insane even I'm very curious too who built Eclipse If not Creator or Ruin then who ??? unless one is lying also wow Ruin made a AntiMagic Barrier ?! Impressive I have a feeling Eclipse is going to escape somehow he won't be killed off so soon maybe maybe maybe hopefully ... Redemption Arc ?
