Where's the disrespect? Is challenging legends now seen as disrespect, or are you talking about how physical Ruin can get in battles? If you're talking about the physicality, don't act like Mijo hasn't participated in that as well; if anything - Mijo was the one who pioneered the aggressively physical form of Krump. Running up on niggas, pushin niggas, gettin in niggas faces - don't act like he ain't the OG of that shit too. As far as I can see it, this is the height of respect in krump - two powerhouses willing to put their differences aside and put all of their aggression into a battle. Just cuz guys like Eyez and Mijo are OGs when it comes to krump, that doesn't mean that all other krumpers should bow down to them. With regards to the battle, it was close but i'd actually give it to Ruin. Mijo is a great krumper, but Ruin has been better than him in flow, speed, and precision since like 2015. This battle had to essentially come down to concepts/creativity vs. execution/move quality. To me, Ruin's execution and move quality just barely won out over Mijo's creativity.
