The Rules to Diablo 2 PvP are simple. Maybe a little TOO simple... We talk about Absorb Rules, Starting in the Blood Moor, Melee Dueling, Life Tap, Rep, etc.
PvP is Best - 0:00
Communicate (Say Go) - 1:04
Don't Heal - 2:11
Cut the Cheese - 3:02
But here is the COMPLETE Rule Set for the DFC (for more specifics):

Great video, Cooley. However, don't forget about the BM pvp community. Controlling the Blood Moor is a part of Diablo 2 history. Perhaps a showcase of certain builds that excel at peeking in and out of the Rogue Encampment for quick kills or builds that can beat a variety of builds with minimal gear swaps? All the best.

I'm an asian dueler (as some of you may know) and i can tell you, we only communicate in a "Binary"-ish code, only instead of "1 and 0", we go "1 and 2 (ready and not ready, respectively). And for anyone who doubts if any asian dueler is good in dueling, it's on a similar, if not on a higher level.

Tried getting into PVP with a windy Druid spent maybe 3k of them F Gs Could never win The people in pub games were insane with their tele stomping or crazy GG lvl 99s Or I just blow which is totally possible Would love a series or video “PVP builds for those with 0 skill level” But are also not BM

In order to win you gotta lose enough times to get good. Nobody just shows up and wins, expecting that would be an insult to the people who’ve been doing it for years. Just be GM and keep grinding repetitions and you’ll be chainlocking telestomping too.

There was a reason I didn't "elaborate" lol. In the DFC, it IS legal. But other rule sets call it "cheesy". Those players, however, don't own a Cure.

@@CoooleyLiveCure may mitigate the psn damage coming off a din with hardly any phys dmg, but vs a zon or barb you need DR and or block as well, in which case good luck getting all of that. With cure on you can’t use coa or SS and maintain fcr on a few builds.

Shouldnt be any rules, just like every other competitive sport/game shouldn’t have any rules, we should all just shit in our hands and throw it at eachother and hurl insults and empty threats from town.

Personally I think anything should be allowed in dueling slow, life tap, ANYTHING. If people can have 40 451 poison small chars I think others should be able to have 200 replenish life, life tap with cray high leach, using healing pots, and etc. It would make dueling way more interesting and best of whatever would be a mind game. imposing limits on dueling is like going to Vegas and trying to make a 10k bet on a game and them saying sorry you can only bet up to $100.

This is too complicated. There is only this one thing to understand - If there is no rules everyone can go apeshit, akara kissing/full rejuv/no corpse, call buddies to team up and to do the same type of thing. If you want to prevent the apeshit mode, what you want is rules. The problem is each person have his own subjective idea of what "fair rules" is, coooley for example may want to make his own subjective ideas the universal standard, but they only hold force if you agree to participate in his tournamets. Key word is agreement. If you want GM duels you have to find what the other person considers fair and come to an agreement, maybe he has to give up something or you have to give up something (of what is subjectively considered fair) but if you start attacking each other without agreement, then its apeshit mode, all rules are off the window so use your imagination how far this can go.

Auto tele hammerdin with rejuvs back in the day lol. Now with 10 summons and boosted damage, probably wind druid is the king of the hill. (When considering sorbing out of your arse, using things like an amp cast weapon on switch, and potions) tbh though people don't usually use healing potions very much in bm duels because #1 you'll run out of potions then have to leave and go farm, which no one wants to do. And #2 because you can get away with sorb but if you use multiple rejuv spam people will just opt out almost immediately and then you're just playing by yourself with no one to fight.
